- This is a mix of my favourite EVE Online ambient tracks which I think are the best ones. That's not to say that the other 4 hours of content is bad, but I think these tracks in particular stand out to me, and are really amazing. Although I'm sure I've forgotten 2 or 3 tracks that I should have put in there haha.
All of the songs are the original ones (not the slowed down ones) the bit rate of the music is in 50-96kpbs (like in the game) the quality loss is very minor, so don't be put off by it.

Stopped playing EVE 7 years ago, but its soundtracks are still part of me.
I played EVE for about 2 weeks in my entire life. Listening to soundtrack for years though :)
I still turn the music off in games I'm currently playing, and play the Eve Soundtrack instead...it never left me

1:04:15 is my shit. It just gets deeper and deeper. 2:09:05 I went through this entire soundtrack just to find this. The only reason I came here. One of my favorite ambient tracks of all time. So epic. Now I shall embed this comment here forever so I don't have to dig through it every time.

I have to ask if this is weird... There are two or three pieces of music that elicit this immense peace and calm. My body reflexively relaxes, exhaling calmly, eyelids drift closed, and I feel what I can only express as... home, belonging deep down in the core of my being. (I'm SO not a touchy-feely) This track is one of the main reasons I fell in love with EVE Online back in 2005, and remain hooked to this day. Jón Hallur Haraldsson (CCP RealX), please know that your music touched me far deeper than any other piece of art eve has. Thank you!

Started EVE in 2010, moved to null sec in 2011 to be part of Fatal Ascension and Incompertus Inc. Had THE best time with great people before things started changing for the worse. Returned recently and it has changed, still a few old names but all the rest have gone. I saw your ship is my soundtrack to the memory of those people. Flying through space and having such good fun in Loca chat or on teamspeak.
Returned recently and the game is like a ghost town, it almost hurts to see it, local so dead you might as well be alone even in a system with other players.
Fly dangerous to all my old friends who I hope are living a good life, and fly safe to those I know have left life for the great journey beyond.

Haven't played Eve since 08-09. The soundtrack takes me right back. Eve was/is amazing! Just didn't have time for 2 jobs anymore.

You can play it casually though, just fly from one star system to the other. No need to heavily get involved with the goings on.
@@Dr.Ballsonyayup, I used to run two accounts at the same time. CN Raven to do the shooting, an old indy to do the looting.
I didn´t even spend that much time in EVE, tried it for a few weeks a couple of times, but some of those songs are just imprinted forever in my memory. I am getting chills listening to them after so many years. One of the greatest soundtracks of all time in my book.
haha then you simply didnt even scratch the surface of the outer shell of the game with your couple times and 2 weeks in it. i wonder if you really know why you left . personally i know why i left and there are some solid 3-4 big reasons.

Game is a shell of its former self but music still holds a special place in place in my mind. I miss the old days of eve. Sad greed of a company had to ruin anything good.

I've met some really awesome people while playing EVE. Remember the days of playing for hours on end, now will just be a memory that I will cherish. Too much going on in life to go back to the game and doubt it will be the same.

I literally only played the month trial version of EVE only twice, pretty much ten years ago. Yet I recognise some of these tracks so well, they are that memorable.

I'm here for it. It can almost make me reactivate after 8 years.
I used to play EvE for a year or so a few years back but due to lots of things going on in life I never managed to fully commit to it and get into it. But, my big brother has been playing since 2010 or so and I remember watching him play since very little and despite the fact I haven't had much experience in EvE, I still am aware of how amazing of a game it is and this soundtrack always touches me profoundly, it is incredibly nostalgic...
I stopped playing EvE online and moved on to Star Citizen, but I sure do love listening to this while doing cargo runs in Star Citizen, it takes me back.
Like many posting.. I have not played Eve in years.. over a decade but I keep coming back to the music. It's perfect background music when I'm editing my images.

EVE is such an amazing game. I yearn for the days of playing again. I could jump back on today and play for hours, but I just don't have the time to devote to playing. There is not enough hours in the day. After work is housework and spending time with real people, watching subscriptions and TV and relaxing and I'm left with not a lot. A real shame but in the same way I'm glad I no longer have 5 hours a night every night free to play. All part of getting old I guess.

I have never played this game but I feel nostalgic reading the comments. I played DarkOrbit though... It was very simillar but much simpler. I'm so jealous of you guys, because EVE online despite the fact that it has changed is at least alive and playable.

These amazing tracks will always be a part of great memories during +10 years in EVE and all the fun in ASCN, Stain and CLS. Now I guess my poor pod is still floating somewhere among the stars...

I'm loving this video. Thank you! These are the songs I knew and loved when I played Eve back in 2003. I loved the sound and feel of accelerating through the void, and I liked to quietly mine asteroids for minerals while listening to the beautiful music of Jon Hallur. I quit because the players I interacted with wanted me to commit to the game like it was a job, and I already had a full time job. It's quite amazing what the game went on to become. Also, the character creation screen was a blast, and amazing for its time.
Remind me much great time I spent in eve. Thanks for uploading memories)

Arguably the finest game ever made. I regret that it has changed so much over the years, though. I miss the simpler (but still complex) years of Apocrypha and the builds around it.
Yes! The first track is the one I was looking for!
This helps keep me afloat as I go through my studies. I make a return to EVE every now and then and always enjoy it, but this helps me fill that void without shelling out too much money on a game I presently can't commit to (and wow, EVE is quite the commitment).
Remember when i was a little kid dreaming to play this. Always went in to 'Spaceworld' store in my town. A store with electronics and games. This unique Black box with 'EVE Online' title on it, and only that standing on the shelf for so long. Exclusive with t-shirt and caps in it + some subscriptions. I always wanted it, but it was too expensive. The years went by and i forgot about it. But after i got my own debit card i finally could try it out. Probably the Music that drove me towards it for sure. I don't play it anymore. (School), but i will return one day. One day.

I think the Eve soundtrack has to be one of the best game soundtracks ever.
Played eve from 2008 to 2012. Stopped since then and never returned. I am unaware what happened to my 2 accounts and the thousands of assets i had, my ships, plus some billions in cash. Sad but true this game is really a job and is strongly NOT recommended for people with families and normal lives for they will be simply destroyed. Music though we can enjoy anytime. thx for the ton of memories you bring me when listen to these tracks. cheers

Faction warfare seems to be the best for the working family man. Just log on when you can and assist in war efforts. small gang pvp, frigs and destoryers. nothing crazy or time consuming

Often listen this playlist while playing elite dangerous.
I started playing this game around 2013.. Played a few years back and forth but it took too much of my life once I started to get my sh t together. So I left... This music brings me back. It still gives me goosebumps. I listen to it almost daily nowadays that I play Star Citizen.

But as we turn through light and and 3 d images through our brains, it's the same. We are star dust. We are light. We're made up of dead stars. A very hard pill to swallow. I played this game awhile, cudos Iceland, well played. There are many cubic miles we serve.many.many for me. My distant brothers.
