Omg, I can’t believe there’s a channel like this. I absolutely love it ladies. I’ve studied the Kennedys and their part in the history of our Country since I was low, low, double digits, without internet and just biography available…well People and Life Magazines too 😊. But this is fantastic; they deserve to be remembered as they really were and the family as the cohesive unit they were.

We knew next to nothing about the Kennedys when we started researching for this series, and it's safe to say that a year and a half later... we are different people now. This story has totally changed our perspectives, and we may or may not have fallen in love with the Kennedys... 😝

Jack didn’t always know he was going into politics; Kick wanted to be in the Clivedon Set, she loved England. That’s why Kick couldn’t be around the 46’ Election-well that and other things. But my point is Jack’s introduction into politics was more subtle, esp because Joe Sr had all that “First Catholic President” wrapped up in Joe Jr. And Sr was destroyed after Joe Jrs death. He grieved hard for his first born.

I actually am very convinced that Lee and Jack sleeping together was just a rumor
They have the Kennedy men always the ‘boys will be boys’ heroes, who didn’t actually treat women like total trash.
I’m no big feminist, but it bothers me how quickly you both are to forgive the Kennedy men for transgressions, yet are so hard on Kick. JFK broke Jackie’s heart several times but that’s okay? He left her in hospital after losing a baby. She was devastated while he was galvanting with young girls. Oh and so quickly he took their virginity of these naive young girls like Mimi and Diane. Not to mention the total humiliation he caused the mother of his children.
Also..You could say that Joe Jr took unnecessary risk to be a hero.
But no, Kick falling in love with the wrong people is so so wrong and immoral?
You were the same with Marilyn Monroe. “I tend to believe the Kennedy’s” and write MM off as nuts..You put no blame on JFK sex addiction whatsoever.
If I were Jackie, after her still birth -- I would have headed for the divorce court -- regardless of $$$ offered.
