As a former teacher, there's significantly more red tape than you can possibly imagine doing things like this, as a lot of unintended consequences of good intentions.
Sometimes, the hardest thing as a teacher is to do nothing, because getting involved can and will make the situation worse. Hats off to the movie for bringing attention to the reality many kids face, and hats off to the movie for portraying teachers giving a shit and going the extra mile, but reality is far more harsh than you could possibly imagine when you actually have to deal with these situations.
Just imagine, you have a parent who beats their child. So as a teacher you go to talk to the parent first. The parent, embarrassed, doubles down and puts the kid in the hospital. Now, you get the police involved, and the parents gets arrested for the safety of the child. Well, the parent goes to jail and now the kid is either an orphan put into the system where they experience even more horrors, or being raised by a single parent who's going to be too busy working 3 jobs to support the remaining family and the kid still falls into delinquency. Hell, most of the time once you leave the student's life, their life gets even worse. Even in this movie's example, yea, the kids got paid internships doing what they wanted, but there are so many other supporting skills necessary beyond just the skill to do the job. How you interview, how you search for jobs, proper work ethics, and a myriad of other things these kids never learned.
The "right" thing for a teacher to do is to give the students the tools necessary to do things for themselves. To stand up against an abusive parent, to seek out other family members who can maybe help them, to find paid entry level jobs, how to balance a household budget, etc. Trouble is, most teachers themselves don't even have these skills. The quick fix is to prop these students up and get them through school. The right fix is teaching them how to stand up on their own.

In this present generation, lot of smart classes is going on due to which their is less physical interaction is there. Till now also many teachers facing challenges. In India most of the teachers believe in physical class interaction rather digital class interaction because in digital class no one know about the student behaviour and also facing lot of health issues and the biggest part is they will become less socialize like outdoor games, participate in various physical activities like dance, drama, debate or any other cultural event. In physical class interaction between students and teachers are much more better than digital class interaction...🙏🙏

i had a very good teacher once in 6th grade, she even one teacher of the year in my state but she took a long break to take care of her newborn shortly after and i didnt really get to see her for the rest of middle school, during 8th grade i had a pretty rough time, i just didnt feel motivated to do any work but one of my teachers that knew her personally called her and let her know about my situation and honestly when she passed the phone to me i almost teared up since i hadnt heard from her in so long, she gave me some pretty uplifting words and it helped motivate me to do better and i ended up pulling my grades together by the end of the quarter, i also lived in a trailer park at the time cuz of some circumstances and during 6th grade she would stop by my neighborhood and go to where me and the rest of the kids played soccer just to check up on us and see how we were doing. she was truly a magnificent teacher and im glad to have met her.

This reminds me of my high school girls' track-in-field coach. He was a father to us and others that needed him. 20 years later, we still call him and have a party to celebrate him every year. We love him so much because he natured our track abilities and got all of us scholarships to go to university. The other coaches at my high school did not do the same for their athletes though. We really love and appreciate our coach so much. Coaches and teachers are so needed in students (especially troubled students') lives. :)

i wish I had teachers like this.. that doesn't just pushed students for grades... but also their welfare too🥺 cause it's mostly a burden for students who always just study and aim for higher grades sometimes they thought they are on the right path but sooner found everything taxing. And there's no one to guide you or or concern about you genuinely. I think they just mostly as long as you pass your grades and graduated you go on. Even guidance counselor in our school rarely helps or if there's only a pressing matter.

@@oxanatarashchuk4598 Of course I understand your viewpoint about teaching students how to study, but you forget that the primal job a teacher has is to teach knowledge to their student. Dealing with students' emotional problems... we might as well change the title of "teacher" into "parent". Also even if a teacher nowadays is required to make subjects interested for students because students today don't go to school because they want to but because they have to. This is also why the school system don't really work because it requires both sides wanting to put effort into it. Students should go to school because they want to learn and teachers should teach because they want to pass down the knowledge.

I had a teacher like this, she's my homeroom teacher on senior high when i was on the 2nd grade and lucky me she's also my homeroom teacher when i was at the 3rd grade, her name is miss Emi, she's a chemistry teacher. I was a troubled student, my grades are the lowest since i was entering the senior high and always had to attend a make up test due to my poor grades on every lessons, especially chemistry and math which i hated the most. But during the 2nd grade, when some of my classmates, including me, failed for chemistry exam, i asked her, out of jokes when we're informed we need the make up test. I was asking sarcastically to her how to be good at chemistry. She's so sad at that time looking on us the losers, especially me, when she saw my grades, but when i asked her that questions, she's looking right into my eyes, put a sincere bright warm smile, before answering "try to practice by answering the questions in this book" that smile was gently touching my soul. So, as lazy as i was, i did what she told me, because i don't want to dissapoint her, and i knew she will feel so disappointed on herself if there is her student fail at chemistry, especially her homeroom students, that was one of her introduction speech afterall when she welcomed us as her homeroom students. That's why i tried to practice by answering the questions in our handbook, my simple thought were, at least when i failed again, she'll know i already did what she told me to.
Then, the day on make up test came. Turned out she used some of the questions in the exam from handbook and modified the values, but there's this 1 question that she copied right from the books, which is the hardest question in the handbook, that even troubled the most bright mind in my class due to the solutions is required us to comperehend the chemistry basics and applied math and logic. So, of course no one that attended the make up test can answer the quesions correctly.
So, after the make up test, i felt that i would be failing again on the make up test and will be disappointing her, i rushed to her room and told her in advance that i already tried to practice by answering the questions as she told me, but that particular questions is so hard, none of smart students i asked knew the solutions, so i would like her to teach me how to solve the problem. I never saw she could smile bigger than that day, when she told me that she'd be surprise if any high school students in our school can answer it, because that problems is not meant to be answered correctly, it just a mere test for our efforts. After telling me that, i told her "miss Emi you're savage and a cheater for giving us the hardship" and we're just laugh and smile at each other. Then she solved and teached me the solutions like an adult explaining things to toddler, i never felt so much joy studying, we always joke, remember chemistry is "CHEM-IS-TRY" a reminder that we should never stop trying, ever since that day i fell in love on chemistry and on her, so library is my new best friends after that. I find studying is fun, and during my 3rd grade, i was able to presented my school a province Olympic biology trophy (this needs another wall of text why biology not chemistry) and I took chemistry as my major during college. I always shed some tears if i remember this particular event with her, because how affectionate she's towards her students, and the proudest moment for me is not the trophy i earned, but it was during the 3rd grade when she said infront of my classmates how proud she is because i manage to get the trophy the first time i joined the Olympic team, and that words are mean the world for me. Well, who ever read this...don't give up trying, and sorry for my wall of text. I just want u to know that teacher like that are still exist.

Hirano Sho will take on the role of an enthusiastic new teacher for the first time in the drama “Seito ga Jinsei o Yarinaoseru Gakkou” (The School Where Students Can Restart Their Lives). Based on Kurokawa Shoko’s book, the story centers on a prefectural high school called the “bottom school,” and depicts the challenges of teachers struggling with the various problems by faced by students in today’s society, along with the conflicts and growth of the new physical education teacher.

Your stated moral of the story is off.
The real moral is COMPASSION IS NOTHING WITHOUT SENSIBLE ACTION.
Before Kiyama went to that school, the teachers were already compassionate/sympathizing with their students' situations. However, they didn't do anything much about that. They just settled with giving the students a place to be in and to graduate even when it means not landing a job because of the school's bad reputation.
It's not enough to understand what others are feeling if you really want to help. You need to find ways to meaningfully extend your compassion to others.

Teachers are often described as the shapers of youths for next generation of one's country. Well, I'd say that's how tension, ideology, geo political crisis rise with high risk so a real Teachers taught a good moral of humanity and how to live an honest lives to next generation with love and care.

It's okay to be total assholes or sometimes downright hostile to other people, as long as you are poor, or have some family problems, or have internal struggle. It's not your fault. It's not your responsibility to get your acts together, but it's other people's obligations to fix you.
