The arpeggiator has the ability to record (save individually in the sound) a sequence of up to 16 steps.

Mine doesn't work anymore. One repair, and after a couple of months doesn't work.

You can try replacing the firmware.
If it still doesn't work, try contacting the manufacturer(Twisted Electrons).

My MEGAfm also works erratically in MIDI loops, but it usually works fine.

@@oyoyoyo7624 I did not record it, but the symptom is like a MIDI signal loop.
In other words, it sounds like feedback of the maximum value.
I have now changed the MIDI routing so this symptom does not occur.

Yes, that's right.
This synthesizer is not emulation of SEGA Mega Drive (Genesis), but an FM synthesizer that uses two YM2612 chips used in the mega drive.
MEGAfm can reproduce the mega drive FM sound source part, but the mega drive sound source itself cannot be reproduced.
If you want a perfect reproduction of the Mega Drive sound source, we recommend the Chipsynth MD from Plogue.

@@chinossynthesizer705 This is meant to be a polyphonic FM synthesizer that happens to use the YM2612 for its sound core, not a hardware box for playing back Genesis .vgm files; there are plenty of those already.

@@chinossynthesizer705 I mean if that's what's important to you, okay. I'd rather have the increased polyphony and knob-per-function control of the MegaFM.
