I think the playing for keeps trophy might have been the trophy for shadows of evil bc mist of the other maps had trophies for doing the Easter egg and the soe calling card for doing the ee had a similar description if I remember correctly 😊
To clear up the "Chronicles 2" thing. It's a community project that is currently going on for bo3 custom zombies.

The big content guys have become so lazy and boring with the react stuff. They take other's works and do the occasional soy face. React "content" alongside the constant exaggeration and fake hype over obvious fake news is so lame and hurts this community with unrealistic expectations.
Playing for Keeps was probably just an achievement you got if you revived all your team mates at least once in a match or something.
I can see multiple reasons as to why something like that would be scrapped, one of them being your whole team purposly downing themselves on round 1 to get it.
I remember getting a BO3 guidebook and that achievement was listed in the guidebook under the zombies section as an official achievement. Given how the BO3 story would unfold and how Blundell is, and I think it might've been just some special, ultra-cryptic tell as to how the storyline would go from Shadows onwards.
From what I get off the Zombies wiki Playing for Keeps was replaced by the Apocalypse Averted achievement you get from completing the 4p SoE easter egg. Instead of getting a trophy you get a calling card and emblem

Oh yeah TGR murdered his rep back in the day, he was the most memeable figure in the community. Happy he's switched up for the better
It's so hard to fight against reaction content nowadays since they're the biggest on the platform cuz they can reupload hundreds of hours of unpaid work in 30 minutes. But you have every right to deny anyone from using your videos to react to and make money off your own time and effort. I hope more people can get past the charsmatic smiles these reactors put on while they steal content.

I think it's Lexify that does the react content? Blonde guy? He'll drag out videos to incredibly stupid length, and will watch a really interesting video, then pause every 5 seconds to either say something that he turns around and says he doesn't know if it's true, something outright wrong (and that's coming from someone who hasn't played since BO2), or just random junk. It got annoying taking minutes at a time to watch a short part of a video.
Lex is the king of saying shit without thinking. If you take some of his takes from videos and ask him about it without saying he said it, he would disagree with it

It's really sad at how "click-baity" the Top of the zombies community has gotten. We went from some of the most exciting videos of all time to just downright throwaway trash.

I’m happy NoahJ only reacts to big speedruns with their permission/them asking him to react to it now. I see both sides of that problem, and he’s said many times that he only reacts when it’s important and he is able to react to it. Great growth from him and I hope one day Lex does the same

I will say they still believe that BO4 was supposed to have zombies chronicles 2, but when Jason left and then the cutscene's got downgraded on the game. The budget was cut to half and the others were already working on Cold War so it sounds like zombies chronicles 2 was done at least almost done and Activision said let's not waste our time on this cuz the community is not really happy with the gameplay core mechanics and that would also make sense that chaos was supposed to have two other maps and the wonder weapon became a melee weapon for multiplayer because we were supposed to go to library of Alexandra. The second year content was supposed to be other remake maps with Aether but this is all scrapped now. Whatever Treyarch is working on is something different for the future. There is no ZC2 anymore. But black ops Golf War is the next Treyarch game. Modern warfare 3 is supposed to have outbreak inside of Warzone which is not a good idea and I think zombies just needs another year break until Treyarch comes back but if people really want a zombies chronicles 2 keep asking for it That's what Kevin Drew said and Mr. T. Lexify is putting a package all together with remastered zombie content that are modded maps on PC only. If you want a zombie's Chronicles experience but if you want to play Black ops 3 safely get the BOIII client which alex shows you how to install and it's very easy and it's very safe.

The whole twitter scandal started because we used an email tied to him to make a twitter account. He did not post anything on it; hell he didn't even know it was a thing. We didn't expect the a whole situation to spiral out of it. I played a minor part in it, but a part nonetheless and I apologize to anyone who got wrapped up into it. I've matured since then and I learned its not cool to be a super edgy 4channer.
That statistic that was posted by his bot is completely taken out of context, it was for the sake of an argument that I do agree was not in good taste.
The discord raids were in no way, shape, or form announced nor endorsed by don, himself. It was organized by a group of kids who enjoyed bullying other content creators in the community for attention. I apologize for not doing anything about it and causing you and others a headache.
2:55 LMFAOOO yeah I had the same reaction whenever he was super into crypto. He did make a TON of money from fucking dogecoin and managed to pay off his student loans and his moms healthcare with the money.
He went dark after the whole situation and recently started checking in with us more frequently. I learned that he made drastic changes in his life for the better like losing weight, moving, and getting a better job. Regardless, the whole drama ended up impacting a lot of people including yourself and the people around you. Again, I apologize to anyone who might be reading this that was roped into the shitshow that was created from everything. Anyway it was cool seeing this video in my recommended and I like that you're reporting on things that went around in this community to people who would like to know the dark, toxic environment that is this community.

Unpopular opinion for the longest time, but I never ever liked TheDon, I first interacted with him in like 2017 and he's always just been a narcissistic degenerate, I was not at all surprised when all that stuff came out about him.
Also the react content take is pretty good, I think in the same vein, making 5 videos on the same thing every single time something minor happens with it is not new content. Like tons of people made multiple videos on that BOIII client and the stuff with that, all of them being at least 8 minutes. There is NO way the new developments with it warrant nearly an hour of explanation uploaded in the span of a week.

It’s effected the zombies community hard, but I think that the game only being active every 3 years when there’s a new zombies does not help at all either. It’s a neiche in the cod community and has such little updates that it’s kinda forced into this place. Still think a standalone zombies game would be the greatest thing to happen to cod since warzone tho
