I do however take into account that just because it looks great on you doesn't transfer to my shape, height, color or size. As my sister-in-law said clothes don't care who put them on. The platform simply inspire creativity with what I already own.

I was consuming so much fashion content and subconsciously felt like I needed MORE but was buying all the wrong things. I also watched the video of Monroe Steele where she had purchase a top in black and white she wore the black one almost a strapless looking tank top and she looked stunning so wanted to purchase it but I thought about my body shape im a 32H UK and it would have looked ridiculous on me. This is why I love watching your content as you always keep it real ❤

I asked myself why I felt the need to purchase all the time and do I need to go to Shoppers Anonymous? I have started a clothing journal to write down my thought processes when I am making purchases both small and high-end products. My most recent purchase was a LOEWE puzzle bag. I do not even like bags like that nor do I use them. I typically have a big ole cloth tote to throw my laptop, textbook, water bottle and other miscellaneous items. I like it cause I can wash it and go. It is crazy. Thanks for the advice much needed. ❤❤❤❤

I'm commenting because thank you for this video. I'm a marketing professional in my occupation, but I've never lost my love for fashion, style, and all things fun. I say all of this to say that I have unsubscribed from certain creators because I felt it became all about consumption rather than joy, a passion, or just sharing their love, too. I do understand the business side of creators, but it started to feel different.

Love this……..my mindset in fashion has always been, know your own personal style everything does no look good on everyone, think and buy clothing that will go with things in your own closet, don’t just buy outfits and wear it the same way always. I do go and buy some things based on some what the the content creators have but I do put my own flavor on everything. Btw I do love your style and your channel. This is so helpful! I need to get back to using Pinterest. Currently, my desktop gets cluttered with screenshots of things that inspire me and my computer memory is getting clogged up with all the fashion pics that I have saved over the last couple of years!
I've got quite a small closet space. But it matches my smallish budget! So I find it helpful to curb over-spending by only shopping for what will fit comfortably into my storage space. I also do a seasonal swap out but still it is great to have the goal of accumulating only things that you really really love that also fit into your lifestyle. I get very happy when something well loved is worn out and I can guilt free replace it with something fresh and exciting!
I think one reason some items we love don't get worn is because we have so many clothes and only one body to put them on! So where things are similar, the favourite one gets worn and the second favourite hardly ever. Thats why I think a smallish well chosen wardrobe is good enough for most of us.

This video came right on time because I justt purchased a coat off of Zara and I love the fit but then I keep thinking if it’s going to get enough wears with my style. I jumped on it because Zara just started opening their minds to size inclusivity and the coat is sexy! But the fact that I keep thinking on it, got the box sitting in my living room waiting on my decision lol.

It’s so frustrating for me to find those pinterests looks that stop me from scrolling and say “that’s it”, cuz it’s not common. But I know I have to stop being so addicted to scrolling in general. I have good ideas and I know I can be creative. I don’t have to always be looking for pinterest looks to save on my inspo board.

My color palette is very neutral and I try to buy so that it can be styled with different pieces and Pinterest does help with the thought process.
