Thank you for posting this packing video today. It's been so very helpful for me and timely too. (I actually took some notes!) Because at 67 I'm preparing for my very First airplane flight from the very northern State of Vermont to the very southern State of Florida into Miami where my eldest son and his wife live. Fortunately, I'm traveling with two of my grandchildren, my fifteen years old granddaughter and sixteen year old grandson. (Who of course have flown before, Lol) who will be happy to teach me how to navigate this adventure.
Decades ago, when my children were growing up, we were constantly taking trips, but we had a large conversion van so packing all our needs and negotiating road travel became second nature to me. But this means of travel is Much different! My beautiful daughter-in-law has been an international flight attendant for Delta for many many years, so she and my son have facilitated all the arrangements.
Still all the rules and regulations are quite a new learning process for me on what you can bring with size and weight limitations and how things must be packed in an organized way. I have strict instructions that it is carry-on only as cargo would cost extra. The liquid quart size bag is challenging!
To complicate things further. I will also need to borrow some type of accessibility device ready for getting around the terminals. I know they won't be holding up a flight for a very slow older lady to find the correct terminals and actually get there on time between the flights!
While I miss seeing Avery in this video, I know she must be doing very well just by your enthusiasm for your grand vacation and the content that is about packing in preparation. Much love and well wishes from Vermont USA. Have an Amazing time celebrating your birthday and your delayed honeymoon! ❤❤
