That is my Puerto Rico, the Island where I was born how much I miss my life as a child on the Island, but soon I will be traveling as a tourist on my vacations, to visit my family and friends! Thank you JenThereDoneThat for sharing so beautiful beaches of P.R. I'm glad you are enjoying, God bless you!
That place is GORGEOUS and one of my favorite hiking spots in PR, especially when the mountain bikes are not around. I live just a mile from there and hike every day when I visit my home there. I live full-time in Washington, DC but own one mile from that park. PRICELESS. Thanks for showing and will be in a couple of weeks with my drone.
It is such a gorgeous spot! I will definitely go back, wearing proper shoes to hike the entire trail and down to the beach. Careful with the drone, it is super windy!
Hi Jen, thanks for another fun video! Moving from Southern CA to PR next month. I’m one of the many that lately decided to take the plunge with ACT60. This beautiful beach will be at the top of my “to do” list. :)
Yes, Arecibo is beautiful. Lovely area, and I am so grateful that I was able to visit the Telescope before it crashed. jentheredonethat.com/arecibo-observatory/
Thanks , nice video. Would you know if PR follows the cdc travel guide lines. I tried looking on line, but I couldn’t find any info as to whether or not PR travelers who have been vaccinated twice still have to get a covid test to travel there.
@@ruthcr8839 Yes I know, just wondering if anyone knows if that means the US territories too. I’ve tried looking on line, but there is nothing on the PR gov web site. Thanks for taking the time to answer me.
All travelers arriving in Puerto Rico are required to submit a travel declaration with contact tracing info, and either negative COVID-19 molecular-based (PCR) test, take a molecular test in PR and quarantine until negative result, or quarantine for 14 days. More details at Puerto Rico Travel Safe site -- www.travelsafe.pr.gov/ The travel declaration form has a checkbox for Vaccine, but currently a negative PCR molecular COVID negative test is required or quarantine. Even if you are vaccinated you can still be a carrier and get others sick. Arriving passengers can take a $110 PCR test at Puerto Rico's main airport at terminals A & C (7 days/week; 6 a.m.-12 a.m.). Aerostar is committing to have results ready in 24-48 hours. Passengers need to quarantine until the negative results are ready.
@@JenThereDoneThat Jen, I’m surprised that you guys in PR don’t know that last week the CDC said that if you’re fully vaccinated you don’t have to have a covid test to travel within the US. That’s why I was wondering if you knew if PR follows the US guidelines too.
Hi Jen I’m a subscriber. Trying to find out if PR follows the same CDC guidelines as in the states. I’ve tried looking this up every where, I even called the CDC, they were clueless. Recently CDC said we don’t need a covid test to travel within the US.

The CDC says fully vaccinated people can travel within the US without a COVID test or self-quarantine period.

That’s not Dorado, it’s Vega Alta PR
Do you have to pay to go to those beaches?
There is usually a fee to park at any of the balneario facilities. Most are between $5 -10 per vehicle. The beaches are free.
@@JenThereDoneThat good to know so if I don't want to spend 150 a month parking I better get a place within biking distance. Thank you
