Then Tenzin la, your explanation about Ukrainian present situation or rather crisis and its past is of full of inaccuracies.
I think your best option is to abandon to tell the Ukrainian story to general Tibetan public who has no clues about the history of western world, two great world wars followed by the Cold War between USSR and USA after the end of Second World War in 1945.
The great struggle between USSR and USA has been about the domination of the world.
USSR by its philosophy of Communism in economics and authorianism in politics verse USA's democracy in politics and capitalism as it's economic philosophy.
They challenge each other constantly by proxy wars and struggles in all parts of the world for supremacy until the USSR lost in early 1990s.
USA and USSR always fought indirectly because both armed with nukes. Each is frightened by the other in direct clash.
If they do, the chances of both ending in ashes is almost a certainty!!
This indirect fight is termed as cold war.
The present the Ukrainian crisis is so much linked the cold war.

Will the sanction be effective in the context of countermeasure to Russia's aggressiveness?
It is absolutely corrosive diplomacy nature of the western powers especially the USA, to put sanctions on Russia, sanctions are not the way to settle the tensions rather it is a tool to spark the fuel on the fire.
sanctions degards diplomatic friendly relations to an all-time low and trigger more tension, when reflecting back on the invasion of Ukraine's Crimea by Russia in the year 2014, there were dangerous reactions from western powers such as putting sanctions on Russian oligarchs, billions of dollars worth of industry and Putin himself in spite of all these tremendous sanctions, it failed. this is the prime reason why their diplomatic relations were shallow back in the day.
Russia is used to sanction and knows how to tackle it from USA hegemony. I think it doesn't affect the Russians that much but it is always the other way around the Western powers as well. below listed are the reasons why Western powers are afraid of Russia:
    1. Russia is one of the powerful countries with a huge stockpile of nuclear warheads weapons. system no other country has.
    2. Russia has a 30% exporter of natural gas and other rare earth minerals all around the globe, if sanctions then it will disturb the global supply chain.
    3. inflation will be increase exponentially on oil, gas, and other petroleum products. even in the western world.
    4. huge defects in the German economic and diplomatic relations between the country.
    5. Russia is veto power and is one of the members of the UN security council which means Russia has capable of dissolving the Iran nuclear power deal which possessed a threat to the USA and its allies.
    6. Russia has big allies member countries in which Russia can depend upon for economic support like the countries of China, Pakistan, Iran, Israel, Sudi Arab, etc.
Also, I am not satisfied with the west supplying military gear and weapons to Ukraine, it is like giving sweet chocolate to children of small age to fight his dad? does it sound good? it's only the method to intensify the war and the pressure. the right way to settle the tension is through diplomacy with mutual respect and understanding between each other.
In conclusion, putting sanctions on Russia is of no use at the least rather it is a tool for mounting pressure, deteriorating diplomatic relations in the future, and escalation of world war three. it is the scenario we all want to avoid.
Also, I don't get, why the world and media are so hyping on Russia's invasion. when America put wars on Iraq, Syria, Vietnam, Libya, and Afghanistan caused a death toll of millions of Muslims and devastating casualties of humans that humans ever faced after the draft of the United Nations Charter. Why did the media and the world are silence and went back on America's territories intervention and wars???😇😇😇😇😇
