Tried showing them how high the water would get. It was such a regular predictable pattern for people whod lived there for thousands of years they knew the signs to watch for that would tell them to leave. They headed for the foothills. The pattern is a mega drought lasting about 20 yrs followed by a mega flood that makes the central valley an inland sea/great lake about 300 miles long and 60 miles wide. It happens every 100-200 years and its been 160 years. People will blame climate change and I don't deny Earths climate changes and humans arnt helping but the mega drought occurring now followed by the mega flood thats sorta just looming in wait will be a natural historical, predictable event for California. They say Carson City,NV was also flooded to 9 feet, Utah, Arizona etc they all flood. LA will get about 66 inches or so of rain in those 6 weeks. If you know anyone in Californias central valley, Sacramento, LA any low lying areas in California just be sure they know this event occurs and is due soon. That they have moving boxes or large Tupperware bins ready and probably just to have all important photos, documents stashed in a bin ready to go because when it begins, if they are watching the weather pattern they can run and rent a small moving van, pack all the things they would like to keep, and get to high ground in plenty of time. If they don't know and sit around watching 2+ weeks of constant rain in the winter and haven't rented a moving truck, haven't loaded their stuff they will probably end up in a rushed evacuation leaving most things behind in gridlock traffic etc. As they say, don't be scared, be prepared!

Your missing 1 crucial variable that prove to be substantial from this years atmospheric river. Its called storm drains. Honestly without them. We would have been underwater a week ago. Here's some fun fact. They did not have storm drains in the 1862 flood. Storm drains weren't invented until the 1960s. They also weren't set into place until the 1980s. Storm drains are created to divert rain water into nearby bodies of water such as oceans. Now we just need a better capture method that will not only store these captured rain waters. But also filter them and dump back into our major reservoirs. But I don't see this happening for another 20-50 years because California is lazy AF.

Didn't California just get hit with an atmospheric river this last winter (winter 2017)? I remember the weather channel saying it was and we had some of the worst flooding state wide. Didn't California just get hit with an atmospheric river this last winter (winter 2017)? I remember the weather channel saying it was and we had some of the worst flooding state wide. I'm guessing this last event was smaller compared to the 1862 one. I drove into Sacramento during the storms and I saw the rivers flooded all the farm land there.

Research Tartaria. There are Tartarian structures still in the Sacramento area. The Capital for example. How this 1862 flood fits in with old maps showing California as an island, & evidence of a mud flood, is a bit confusing. We do not have proper truthful information & timeline, making it more challenging than need be. Clearly, there were ancient structures, with evidence of mud-flooding.

The reason why the “evidence” is confusing is because it doesn’t add up. There wasn’t a catastrophic mudflood and there wasn’t an empire called Tataria. That name was a geographic term often used to describe the Russian Far East. It was also used to describe the Mongols.
Here’s the main problem with your theory. Why is it that there wasn’t a single civil war veteran or former African slave who mentions any of this? They would have lived through it and yet they seem to forget that they survived a worldwide mud flood. It’s because none of those events happened. You can look up countless of interviews of people who lived from the 1850s-1940s who were interviewed about their lives. Look up “Life in the 1800s” on TH-cam. You’ll find many interviews of these people and not a single one of them mentions your mudflood. Centenarians don’t confirm your beliefs.
@@randomango2789 there’s more than enough evidence to prove the historical narrative is innnacurate though. Thousands of photographs that directly contradicts historical narrative. Look at a pic of San Fran in 1852, then look at the pop. One of the easier contradictions to see imo. You don’t always have enough evidence to prove who killed who, but you do have enough to show your client isn’t guilty if you know what I mean

After gold was discovered in California, there was a population boom which explains why they were constructing more buildings for San Francisco. So no, this isn’t evidence of a mudflood.
That’s the problem with the “evidence” that u people provide. You guys take old photos out of context and then speculate what you think these photos are about. That’s not how you do a real analysis.
Not only that but this doesn’t answer the points I made earlier. If this mudflood really happened in the 1850s, why is there no one who mentions this? This was a worldwide catastrophic event and yet nobody appears to remember this. It’s because it didn’t happen. Look up interviews of people who lived in that time, you’ll see that what they describe matches with the history we’re taught in schools.
