This was great. He literally just summarized the entire content of the “How to Get Published” YT. Glad to see the relevancy and necessity or each point from someone who practices it. Okay, i feel confident again. Now for a video on “how to destroy a mountain of paperwork before returning to the office.” YT has it all.
I loved this video. I did the same last year. He’s right that Fiverr is a great tool. However being an indie writer is expensive. So to help with costs learn how to do things yourself. Then you can higher out your skills. I downloaded Adobe and used TH-cam to find someone to teach me to create my own book cover. I also used TH-cam for someone to teach me how to format my book. If you have time this route is beneficial in the long run.

You can create your own book cover. Dalle2 is AI. Tell it what image you want. Transfer it to canva for free or end up paying $50 on fiverr.
@@dafonkybassmusic I did my own edits. I used the editor in Word as well as Grammerly. I had over 100k words. It cost too much.

Truth to this champ. He’s one hundred percent accurate in telling people to write for their audience. And to invest small amount of money. It takes money to make money. Yes, I taught college English from material I wrote myself for years and have graduate degrees, so I’m telling you that this old white dude totally agrees and tell you all to take notes. I’ve got my cover from Fivvr, got my Bawker ISBN, and named my publishing house.
Write bullet notes in it: Use Fivrr, use editors, dictate, and Write For Your Audience.

Working from back forwards is for short attention span, understanding your topic will keep you on task. If writer can't stay on focus, can you expect any reader to keep interest?

Thanks for sharing. Does it not depend on your subject? If subject is just personal experience, well yes just share it extemporaneously. But with my topics I use research and science, and (some personal humor and life experiences) as well as facts to support my topic. Otherwise it is a nice story or goes into the genre of fiction.

Google docs has voice to text dictation function. Then, the additional feature is to read out loud, so you may listen and proofread what was typed out.
Also I went to a local high school, spoke with the art department lead and was allowed to post a project ad looking for artist for illustration work.
Agreed with pay amount, the artist's name goes on the publication, so they get credit, adding to their resume and portfolio.

They give some good information but most do not see the side of the coin of how some of the information they are giving will kill our designs in America income. If you tell people they can get someone from another country for cheap labor. Its all good but it will kill our designers in America. And people wonder why some designers do not want to do any work. Because people do not want to pay them anything and they want free labor. And there are pros to getting someone from another country to do something for you but there also are cons such as the language gap. Some foreigners may missunderstand what you want and you may have to pay more to get it done correctly and etc.
