- This is a London Walking tour of Mayfair. This is an affluent area in London, Westminster. It is located between Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly and Park lane. It is one of the most expensive districts in London and the world. This area has Georgian townhouses, exclusive hotels, and gourmet restaurants. Also it hosts many embassies. The USA embassy used to be in Mayfair, just next to Grosvenor Square. Also the famous 1930s luxury landmark Dorchester hotel is located just next to Hyde Park on Park Lane.

Mayfair, the dream. You’re in a movie, even those who work, frequent and live regularly every day the neighborhood, can not explain where he is. There are no Englishmen in Mayfair, the only ones with properties come from the Middle East, and most are uninhabited, waste of money. One of the most chic neighborhoods in the world, but just take a nice walk, buy something nice and stop for a tasteful dinner. Remember, Mayfair is the "non-life". Cheers by a Londoner

@@UrbanWalkingExperience If you wait until the Christmas decorations are up on the street and in the shop windows soon it looks even more spectacular. Especially at night or in dark evenings.
Oh yes definitely it will be amazing when the Christmas lights are on.
@@UrbanWalkingExperience I'm sure they'll be up in a couple of weeks as they are planning to turn the Christmas lights on in Regent Street and Oxford Street earlier than usual this year to try and drum up some much needed trade in the West End.
