It’s so nice to see what a first world country like Spain has such modern trains. I know first hand as I commuted on a Renfe train from Villanova to Barcelona for classes. Being from the USA I was amazed by it’s comfort and speed and by the view of the Mediterranean through the large windows.
Most of our passenger trains here in the USA are relics from the 1960s with diesel engines and top speeds of 70 mph but a lot of miles are done much slower,

More slow and more expensive too in comparisson, that is paradoxical.
The trains in USA for packages is very cool, but for passengers is very bad in general (like their infraestructure too). That´s a sign how their government take care more to merchandise than citizens (economy of things than goodbeen of people). That it make to think it, for to be a 1º world country too.
      Regards.

Hello. We are traveling soon to Tarragona from Cordoba with large bags. Can you share which end of the coaches are the luggage racks located? Also which door the use for entry and exit? (Is it the forward door or the rear door?). Thank you.

It depends where the coach is coming from but normally on the left side for luggage and the front doors to board and middle to exit! But again this is dependent on where it’s coming from

@@darylyatestransportblogs just check for potential work on lines/stations! But there shouldn’t be much just sit back and enjoy the ride on one of the best high speed networks in the world! Check for what dining car is on! As ours on this day had no hot food or meals! Just snacks!
