Seriously tho!!! The fact that you can always go back to refresh your mind and honestly with basically everyone on this channel it is so easy to retain and understand.... There are so many people that try to teach and I just get bored of listening to them.
Super good on you Cameron. Explaining as you do here is VALUABLE to the ones out here grinding it out, and wanting to gain knowledge. Thanks for your devotion and wisdom.
That video is a Master Class. 100% endorsed. Pay attention newbys and struggling anglers alike. Your catch rate just rocketed if you memorize the presentation.
Awesome video for the average fisherman as myself. I've done and used some of your techniques but the added do's and don'ts really help. Trying some of your tips tomorrow with early fall fishing on the Columbia.
FINALLY!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! Been out here two yrs from Chicago. Was a dream of mine to have a boat on the Columbia River.Ive Fished salmon steelhead trout all my life bass pike walleye stripers too. So I just got my boat running good and started assembling gear starting from pretty much a couple of Steele head rods and creek gear. No nooks in the boat yet. I am out on Davis bar. Midwest all ya need is a deep V couple of downriggers medium rods we use spinning rods and tinsel flies. We had never used scents tuna or anything. Really getting use to the one rod limit. But I do respect it. Also shocked at stores being out of basics like lead and flashers and hot lures in season.......shocked and annoyed. Understanding the rivers have some insane walleye compared to the Midwest....am looking forward to those too. Spinners egg/leech flies spoons for creeks and streams again spinning tackle. Totally a different fishery lots to learn. Ran into your channel you guys do an awesome job. This vid was exactly what I was looking for. Tight lines gentlemen!!!
Great video if I ever come out west to fish I will have fishing for salmon in the Columbia river down pat. Very informative . Live in Michigan on the st Joseph river right at the mouth into lake Michigan. Do pretty good on the pier north and south. Walking Crank bait's along the wall of the pier. And jigging spoon's.
I like pulling the treble hook off of those wobblers and tying on a leader to a hoochie….they kill Kokanee!! The one Cameron is using in this video has made me a very successful Kokanee fisherman. As well as the silver pink pearlescent wobbler.
Good to see you out there with the fallen outdoors! I’ll add 1 more set up that I also use is a triangle flasher with either a brads Kokanee, mini or reg cut plug behind it in the deeper 25+ foot water. 3-5 feet off the bottom. Awesome video gonna find me some Atlantic prawns for this Father’s Day
My fishing partner doesn't like you cause you're young and good... I never got it but to each their own. I really appreciate this video, GREAT info. We Glass ya all the time but never saw these tips and tricks. Thanks a million Cameron. To me, it's about getting more people out there on the fish, so they pass on the skill to their kids and friends. We'll never be as good as Gone Fishin' but at last we don't always get skunked with great info like this.
Hey, this video was super informational. I've been fallowing you guys for a couple years! I'm really impressed with your guys videos you inspired me to start my own channel. I would love to meet you guys buy a charter or talk business sometime!
Hi Cam, when your plunking with plugs (and they dive without weight) , how do you know if your plug is digging into the ground?? if you're using a spreader with a weight, won't it dive with that set up?
I got a couple cold water low profile reels(354) I would like to buy 2 more Okuma rods. I can’t get rods for every style of fishing so I would like to get something in the middle where I can do it all. What Okuma rods would you recommend for Salmon/Steelhead and Cod/Black Bass? Thanks for all the help!
Started duck hunting again and bought the coat. Loved it so much I started wearing on my winter rafting trips. Far superior coat in quality warmth and durability. Nothing to do with sponsorships, just using quality gear in my line of work. 👍
@@TeamGoneCatchin Heck yeah man I started duckhunting also this year I just bought a new Benelli you should show Duckhunting on the channel👍 hope to see you at Astoria this year!
Hey, if your marking fish say 10 to 15 feet up off the bottom do you still fish on the bottom or crank the gear up too where your marking them. This is a point of serious discussion between me and the wife. All answers will be kept confidential??
If your confident in your fish finder and are sure what your making are salmon, If move to a location where the current pushes them to the bottom. This way you know your gear is going to be in their face swimming up river.
Been there, done that. Chinook will spit out a BARBED hook like nothing, how about a barbless hook? you just spent $200 for a guide to take you fishing. Didn't bring home a thing...Nuff said...
You just watched a $1000 worth of fishing lessons.

I sure wish I could have watched a video like this about 30 years ago. You just summed up a lot of knowledge in a very short time.
Super good on you Cameron. Explaining as you do here is VALUABLE to the ones out here grinding it out, and wanting to gain knowledge.

Where do you find Atlantic Prawns?
Awesome!!Very informative Thank you greatly!!when would you use a wobbler float to fish a wobbler?
When I'm fishing the slowest of the slow current. It's an insurance policy to make sure your off the bottom and your gear is working.
I need to go fishing with the golden boy Cameron!! Thanks for the video and information Cam!

Can you do this same technique with say a kokanee cut plug?
Hey, this video was super informational. I've been fallowing you guys for a couple years! I'm really impressed with your guys videos you inspired me to start my own channel. I would love to meet you guys buy a charter or talk business sometime!
This guy is good!!
What kind of fishing reels do you guys use?
Do you think this method would work in upper tributaries?
What's the best tide chart for the lower Columbia?
What size number are the Duo snaps that you are using?
Fantastic 😊
Very good video
Hello Yall how are you guys doin
Thanks for knowledge I just started fishing I got my first salmon last summer Also have you ever hooked your hand wrapping the meat on?
what is the exact model # reel is that your using please ?
Hi Cam, when your plunking with plugs (and they dive without weight) , how do you know if your plug is digging into the ground?? if you're using a spreader with a weight, won't it dive with that set up?
You'll see the rhythm stop and go. It's the plug wiggling and diving down and pausing when it hits the bottom.

I fish in Southern Oregon and bank fish.. is there a video I can go to for this summer steelhead/salmon that work best for summer bank fishing?
Those pliers, a new Gerber model?
How often should you refresh your bait?
How long do you give a spot before moving?
Do the pro cure sents oils go bad?Do you have to keep them out of direct sunlight?
What net do you use if you don’t mind me asking?
Awesome video!! Are you using the smaller or larger Okuma cold water reel?
SS Low pro, smaller size.

Or could be higher or lower in water column… just change colors do the trick
Great video I appreciate it when is addicted going to team up with Brad's and start carrying their products I'm looking forward to the promo code
I don’t get how you guys only have 200k subs…y’all should have your own show on the Discovery channel or similar.
Are you guys not sponsored by Sims anymore. Because I’ve noticed you guys have been wearing sika.
Are you sponsored by sika instead

Wuuut?! i've never seen a sturgeon on a lure before... I guess that means i'm not deep enough...😆
I don’t even have a boat but I just watch this whole video

I use 1) line and 2) a spinner. Probably why I only catch 1lb fish. That line combo gave me a headache
Defeat the algorithm
when did that bee land on his hat lol
6;45
😄
I just spent 7 days salmon fish'n & didnt get anything off the Columbia River! 35 hits & still no fish!
Ugh first thing shouldn’t you put out rods with different set ups ? Not all rods same ? Spinner plug bait etc . ?
Mmmmmmmmmhmmmmmmmmm
Bro you got a bee on your head
