Simple Digitizing Hatch Tutorial

Is there an option to actually draw it? Like digital art but using this? Or would it be best to do this process with my own design without being able to physically draw it in this program myself?

I like to draw/trace designs myself. If I'm going to touch every node I may as well place them myself, but I have years of experience.

Yes! you will need the higher level version of the software in order to use certain functions you are describing.
