You should turn your rig around Phil and put the awnings together to expand your total shaded area. Plus some side curtains would make you think your little Junior Rig has big RV Tendencies! My parents and I used to park our Rv's with the entry door side awning over lapping just an inch or 2. It made such a nice big outdoor shade area many camping neighbors would just bring their camp chairs down and we start picking guitars and banjos all evening. So much fun!

Steel welded to steel with steel for emphasis. . In braille reverse, all this steel 'shifts' inattentive branches and the occasional mountain.

uh idk about that. black is def going to be warmer than say white, especially like a tent or something that your "inside" an awnig probably doesnt really matter as much as the air underneath isnt stagnant. lighter colors will reflect the sun( and hear) away where dark will absorb it.
At 3:05 I think it would be rad to put a fold-out desk/ cooking area on the back. Thats a lot of space to work with a collapsing area. Edit: And it would be covered by the awning

On a bigger scale, cardboard mock-ups of furniture and cabinets helps to establish an usable interior prior to conversion of a skoolie, for example. . A 3D CAD program on a 2D computer screen can lead to an unusable interior. We delivered RecreateVehicles manufacturer-to-dealer and dealer-to-shows. We constantly witnessed the goofiest interior designs... probably designed by a committee of non-camping accountants using CAD instead of experience. . Real-World experience earns. Attempting to develop camp gear while sitting in a cube-farm in an office building... well, good luck with that.
