EP14 - Thomas Inigo, professional triathlete from the USA

Thomas is a professional triathlete from the USA. He started running in the times of the pandemic and he used a bicycle to commute to work. One day, his life changed, as he got hit by a car and sustained severe injuries. His PT suggested swimming and because Thomas was unable to run, he gave it a go. Given that he was already swimming and running, he then started training cycling as well and his triathlon career was born.
He competed in his first Ironman 70.3 race in 2022 and immediately won his age-group at Ironman 70.3 North Carolina and qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championship. He continued racing as an age-grouper in 2023 and finished 6th in Ironman 70.3 Boulder and 3rd in Ironman 70.3 Augusta, earning his professional card.
Thomas moved to Boulder, Colorado, to dive head first into the pro lifestyle. He built a great team of advisors and teammates around him, has high goals and he’s doing his best to achieve them. In addition to training full time, Thomas is a certified strength and conditioning coach.
