Lol, back in the ol' days only men were allowed to be actors in plays. Women were played by men; young boys were castrated so that they would not develop more masculine features, and would keep their high pitched voice. But now it's the other way around! Lol, how times have changed, I guess that's what you could call irony. "Hilarious".

Are you seriously suggesting that rather than allowing female performers to be a part of plays you’d rather have boys be castrated?
