In my opinion, Neville and Harry together should've killed Bellatrix, by torturing her with crucio, like she did on Neville's parents, then finally killing her with avada kedavra, which she did with Sirius
The thing about Neville is he could have been the Chosen One, can't remember the exact words but the prophecy spoke of a boy born at the end of july whose parents had defied Voldemort twice.
The way Daniel's (Harry's) eyes lit up realizing the snake was killed, you could almost jump and say "Nooooww!!!" Such a powerful scene, amazing acting from both!
Something I just realized is that, Harry's whole fight with Voldemort was just him buying time for Ron and Hermione to kill Nagini since it was the last horcrux and the only way to really kill Voldemort. Harry held his own in a battle that rode on something he could only have hope for.
Agreed, I much preferred it in the book where everybody was in the Great Hall and Voldemort was having to hold off Slughorn, Minerva and Kingsley all at once - then Harry shows himself and they battle in front of everyone after Harry offers Voldemort one last chance to put his soul back together through feeling remorse. It was a lot more powerful as a scene, especially since Voldemort's body didn't just disintegrate into thin air.

But he survived because of horcrux .now all horcrux destroyed so he died
I think the way they had Voldemort physically beat up Harry for a couple scenes is clever. By that point Voldemort had tried pretty much every spell he knew on Harry, including AK multiple times, and the kid just would not die. By this point V was at the end of his rope, boiling with rage at Harry for NOT DYING, defying him, and being the one thing he could not conquer. It seems logical Voldemort's "human?" rage would kick in and he would just feel so inclined to beat the shit out of him.
The look on Harry's face after seeing Voldemort turn to dust...The happiness...He killed his mom, dad and Harry finally took the revenge....Such a great scene!!!!!!
For those wondering why Voldemort physically beat harry instead of just using magic was because he was blinded by rage by this point and wasn’t thinking
Also, he has tried Avada Kedavra on him so many times and it failed. The first he did it, the spell backfired and in most of the other times, Harry was able to defend against it due to some coincidence and through his own skill. The most recent and most successful attempt at killing Harry failed and the killing curse was supposed to kill him. Without the protection, Harry was supposed to be dead. At that point, magic has failed Voldemort so he probably thought he was better off just using his hands.

"...and this Tom, are the technicalities of wand ownership. And I want you to think about it in your dying moment.. This is how I defeated you, not through skill, not through ingenuity or wit that would make me your equal in a battle for life and death, but through a mere technicality" and then Harry moved on with his life to become a government law enforcement agent, determined to bust his foes through the power of legal technicalities.
The only thing I was unsatisfied with was the fact that no one got to Witness voldemort's defeat other than Harry.. It would of been better if everyone saw him win
Na I preferred this... No need for theatrics & a audience... it felt more personal this way.... this was a personal fight that Harry had to finish ALONE
The thing that always bugged me about the ending of this movie was that Voldemort was supposed to die as a man. That he was human, even under all that evil and the power of the Horcruxes. That was why it was important in the books that his body was still there - because he was just a man. A horrifically evil man, but still just a man.
The peaceful moment, when Voldemort died. 8 years, it’s been. The peaceful music as he leaves. The peacefulness, joined them. It’s over, 8 years of fighting, it’s finally over.
when they 'fly' together, it's a really pretty view of the castle and its surroundings:) i remember admiring that in the theatre when everybody else was so in the fight...
What a climax prophecy fight it came true. Just like it was said in order of Phoenix. Only one can live in one shall die. Which means someone has to kill each other that is what we saw in the climax of this movie. The epic fight between Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter. Who will win. I go for team Harry Potter
It’s a strange comparison, I know, but I can’t help but see a few parallels between the deaths of Voldemort and Thanos in Avengers, and not just because they both disintegrated. They both met their end from their enemy turning their own power against them (Harry driving back Voldemort’s killing curse and the Elder Wand recognising its target as it’s true master, next to Stark taking and using the Infinity Stones Thanos had long sought after). Their ends were ironically a consequence of their obsessions over their goals, but then that’s where the contrasts come in. Voldemort was obsessed with immortality at any cost, never caring how many people suffered or died as long as he alone escaped death. Thanos, on the other hand, had a twisted belief that he was doing the whole universe a favour, and was surprisingly accepting of the idea that he would probably die in the process. When Voldemort is dusted, his final moment is one of terror, silently screaming as the fate he wasted his life escaping finally catches up to him. When Thanos basically goes out the same way, his final moment is one of acceptance, simply sitting down and relaxing as he waited for the end.
I love the battle in the book to death, but I think I like how the movie did it better. I just love that it's not only a stare down in the great hall, and then their wands connect, and Voldemort dies. I think it's awesome that only the two of them fight alone, and that their battle goes all around the castle, and they beat the shit out of each other before the final connection.
One of my very few criticisms is that they only have the one scene with Harry calling him Tom, that was my favorite part of the Book battle cause Harry was finally getting to talk some SHIT to Voldemort and the psychological damage from that definitely helped him win cause we all know how SENSITIVE ole Tom was, I wanted like 3 more scenes with Harry talking his SHIT!
Harry finally killed the man who took everything away from him i can see lily and james sirius and remus looking from the sky feeling so proud of harry
Normally I would say something against this but yeah agree the book battle of hogwarts was miles better than the film version. Except Voldemort’s death since he just drops dead in the book
@@P3891 but that’s what makes it special though. He died a common human death, there’s nothing more human and common then dropping dead on the ground. And that’s what he despised, so it’s actually really humiliating for Voldemort to die like that. Perfect death in my opinion
actually in the book the final battle between harry and voldemort is too short after harry wakes up from his "death" neville eventually have the sword and kills nagini also a make harry kill voldemort too easy
I really love the actress who plays Bellatrix. She perfectly plays the villainous role she's given, and you can tell she had a blast. The behind-the-scenes documentaries show that everyone on set enjoyed being around her.
Agreed as well. The book had it much better. Especially since Voldemort and Bellatrix each had to fight 3 people at once. To me, they missed the bar on this part. Much more emotion and powerful in the book.
I'm kind of in-between about that. I loved the battle in the movie because I love the HP special effects and such, but I also love the battle in the book because of all the detail that allows you to build the scenes in your head. As for Voldemort, I like his death in the movie, too :3
I love the metaphor in the fact that Harry Never ever used the killing curse. He was fighting to protect, he never lost himself because he's not a murderer.
In a match to the death, there's no such thing as fair or foul. If you have to kill to protect so be it. Killing in the heat of battle, to protect all that you hold dear, doesn't make you a murderer. Plenty of heroes in multiple forms of media kill the villains but it doesn't change who they are.
The GREATEST ACT from Harry was to call him by his muggle name, as he was half muggle, calling him Tom in the midst of the fight!! NOT HE WHO MUST BE UNNAMED, but humble, same as Harry, Tom.
Since I read Half-Blood Prince, I've always felt a bit bad for Tom. I mean, he's a half-blood, hated that fact, was ashamed of his muggle father, and used his own hatred and anger to kill other innocent people and an infant baby, and then said baby grows up and destroys his soul, and he dies. If Tom had made different choices, he wouldn't have become Voldemort. If I had been Harry, I'd have been trying more to talk to him and make him see that it isn't too late to turn his life around.
Well, you see, Neville was successful in destroying the seventh Horcrux, and thus in destroying the seventh fragment of Voldemort's mutilated soul. The other six had already been vanquished by Harry, Ron and Hermione. The destruction of Horcruxes did not weaken Voldemort physically, it only made him vulnerable to death because although the soul cannot be killed or die, the body can.
This ending had wayyy more suspense than all the other hp movies and the ending was.more epic and thrilling than the book. The book was straight out forward but too quick in voldys death, in this however it keeps u waited and nervous while other little things are resolved leading to the final battle...i personally think david yates did a beautiful job :)
I personally also hated that Harry ended up winning the final showdown through pure luck and just some technicalities about wand lore. Come on, its a story about wizard, shouldn't the protagonist at least win through wisdom, wit or ingenuity?
the book was better, that fight was so much mroe intense and harry showed his good side telling voldemort he could change and then instead of disintegrating him simply killed him
this movie was made like over a decade ago by the way, and the visual effects of it is still better than most of todays blockbuster films, for example, the flash 2023. lol

This is how I defeated you, not through skill, not through ingenuity or wit that would make me your equal in a battle for life and death, but through a mere technicality" and then Harry moved on with his life to become a government law enforcement agent, determined to bust his foes through the power of legal technicalities.
1:07 when I pick up a dollar from the floor and realize it's actually poop
🤣🤣
LOL
LMAO I’M CRYING 💀
Good triumphs over evil. Light shines over darkness. Freedom reigns over tyranny.
Hi cinnabar gym leader
Hi Captain Obvious, that's what happens in the movies. Not in real life.
Yes, but GOOD suffers a lot and for a long time before the final victory.
Eventually evil never lasts forever.
The music is so good, they really did a lot of work here.
I loved Molly's "Not my daughter, you bitch!" line. That was really cool.
Then shes pissed
Molly wins. Fatality.
Look at the color of spells Molly is slinging. They're avada kedevras. Killing spells, every one. Mom isn't playing anymore.
“nOT mAH doUGhter YU BITcH!”
*”heheHEHEHE”*
*zap zap zap*
*” HGUUUUGHH”*
*freezes*
The only thing I was unsatisfied with was the fact that no one got to Witness voldemort's defeat other than Harry.. It would of been better if everyone saw him win
I think it's better that nobody saw that because it was just harry alone battle. It was his personal battle. That makes it more epic
2:56 i never get tired of seeing the second neville slices the head off the snake, with the gryffindor sword!
The peaceful moment, when Voldemort died. 8 years, it’s been. The peaceful music as he leaves. The peacefulness, joined them. It’s over, 8 years of fighting, it’s finally over.
It's funny how Neville is the one who saved the day both in the first year and that last one😁👍❤️
when they 'fly' together, it's a really pretty view of the castle and its surroundings:) i remember admiring that in the theatre when everybody else was so in the fight...
1:49 and 1:57 DAMN!!! the way volde tried to rip or tear face of harry....got me goosebumped
Cống hiến hơn nữa trong sự nghiệp của mình. Một lần nữa cảm ơn Đức Phúc và chương trình đã mang đến những giây phút thư giãn này. Mãi yêu!!!❤❤❤
imagine behind the scenes they had to point eachother's wand for like 5 minutes or so.
1:31 thought Harry would kiss Voldy. *shooketh*
sweet tom
Yeah that’s gross.
He isn't a dementor 😂
Can we take a second to appreciate what Mrs. Weasley did
It’s a strange comparison, I know, but I can’t help but see a few parallels between the deaths of Voldemort and Thanos in Avengers, and not just because they both disintegrated.
According to the book, this was supposed to happen in the great hall.
I don’t mind this change
I love the battle in the book to death, but I think I like how the movie did it better. I just love that it's not only a stare down in the great hall, and then their wands connect, and Voldemort dies. I think it's awesome that only the two of them fight alone, and that their battle goes all around the castle, and they beat the shit out of each other before the final connection.
Well actually just after neville kills the snake when you see harry and voldemort you can see a few people watching them. so they werent alone
Why does it have to be so different? I prefer the book's version..
Book version was way better Harry taunting him.
@@ciaranbrk yeah
When neville killed nagini in that moment voldemort knew that he'll die we can see it in his eyes yet he still casts the spell
I really love the actress who plays Bellatrix. She perfectly plays the villainous role she's given, and you can tell she had a blast. The behind-the-scenes documentaries show that everyone on set enjoyed being around her.
I find it hilarious that basically Voldemort is beefing with a kid the whole series 😂😂😂😂
Notice how voldy is literally reduced to beating harry with his feet and fists. That's the kind of thing a MUGGLE would do.
1:33 When Harry holding his arms at Voldemort and jumping on the void , i have some goosebumps
And that was officially the end of my childhood !
Agreed as well. The book had it much better. Especially since Voldemort and Bellatrix each had to fight 3 people at once. To me, they missed the bar on this part. Much more emotion and powerful in the book.
The movie did it much better. The book version was so short and cringe asf. The movie was much better
@@nehh_aksatNah Harry roasting Voldy before the final showdown in front of everyone is still amazing.
@cj131 the book version is better, the big showdown with everyone watching so everyone sees he's gone for good. It's not cringe at all
Ms. Weasley: "Not my daughter you bitch!!"
Bellatrix: *Lunatic laughter*
I'm kind of in-between about that. I loved the battle in the movie because I love the HP special effects and such, but I also love the battle in the book because of all the detail that allows you to build the scenes in your head. As for Voldemort, I like his death in the movie, too :3
When you realize mrs Weasley is a badass G
'I like ya cut G' literally
I love the metaphor in the fact that Harry Never ever used the killing curse. He was fighting to protect, he never lost himself because he's not a murderer.
In a match to the death, there's no such thing as fair or foul. If you have to kill to protect so be it. Killing in the heat of battle, to protect all that you hold dear, doesn't make you a murderer. Plenty of heroes in multiple forms of media kill the villains but it doesn't change who they are.
Neville's character development is what brought me to tears
45 molly weasly channelling her inner Ellen Ripley there
this scene had me on the EDGE of my seat bro. butt clenched and everything seeing ron and hermione being chased by nagini like that.
after being punched, slapped, kicked and jumping off a building harrys glasses still managed to stay on untouched
i had tears in my eyes for this epic ending
At 3:55, you hear Voldemort whisper, "Screw you, Harry." 🤣🤣🤣🤣
1:10 Voldemort thinks:
The hell with magic! I'll beat you with my bear hands!
Bare hands, not bear hands
@@OceanHedgehog What if Voldemort is a bear though?
3:58 "Voldemort dust, don't breathe this!"
I also think that Harry had love that kept him going as well, as voldemort has never known love.
God seeing Voldy's face that close would give anyone nightmares.
Neville surely put all of his pain and power into that swing with the sword
Gryffindor should win the house cup every year after this-
Unless they were rlly bad lol (prob won’t happen)XD
1:14: It's pretty funny when Volvy is reduced to beating up a kid with his hands and feet.
Initial 11 years of muggle life tactics xD
Tom is slapping Harry, like an ordinary muggle 🤪
The smile mama Weasley gives after she kills that “bitch” always gets me
1:31 bro really said if I die you’re going down with me
3:19 the mood intensifies, 3:23 the final clash of good and evil starts, and at 3:37, harry clutches it
Really wish Peeves had been in the movies, especially with him celebrating and singing at the end "Voldy's gone moldy!"
He was originally going to be & Rick Mayall was cast in the role.
Voldemort fighting like a muggle is cool 🖤🖤🖤 he’s taking Harry on like a regular human
Harry and Albus are the only characters who had balls to call Voldemort, Tom😂
Well, you see, Neville was successful in destroying the seventh Horcrux, and thus in destroying the seventh fragment of Voldemort's mutilated soul. The other six had already been vanquished by Harry, Ron and Hermione. The destruction of Horcruxes did not weaken Voldemort physically, it only made him vulnerable to death because although the soul cannot be killed or die, the body can.
It did weaken him, Voldemort was left with only an eighth of his soul left, and it is stated many times that souls hold power.
Voldemort turning to ashes as the Lily Theme Song plays in the background is the real OP.
@@shizachan8421 This ain't anime. It's Hollywood.
the book was better, that fight was so much mroe intense and harry showed his good side telling voldemort he could change and then instead of disintegrating him simply killed him
this movie was made like over a decade ago by the way, and the visual effects of it is still better than most of todays blockbuster films, for example, the flash 2023. lol
One of the best fights In Harry Potter movies
Finally calls Snape ‘Professor’
How no one is talking about Molly Weasly the way she always protected her children's even if harry wasn't her child ❤
“Come on Tom.” I am shocked that Voldemort didn’t just kill harry there and then!
