    Thomas Friedman is an excellent journalist with great credentials. Good choice for interview and enjoyed listening to his journey.

    Whether I can agree with Tom Friedman's thoughts or be at odd with same, he is a man who I listen to be it live or in print.I find food for thought worthwhile in almost any commentary and it is so easy to hit delete or move to another page.
    I sincerely don't think Friedman is an agenda driven contributor.

    Much of Mr. Thomas Friedman writing about the Arab world and the Middle East is true, and it hurts as an Arab. He may have failed in criticizing Israel more, but then again who dares to do so in the US among journalists. It is practically the death knell of any journalist. Just read what happened to Helen Thomas. However, I enjoyed the interview, and I found it very interesting and informative. I certainly look forward to Mr. Friedman videos when available at KA. Good job KA. Keep them coming.

    The establishment is not necessarily bad, and the fact that some of them a jerks absolutely doesn't mean that everything in the establishment is bad. Ultimately they hold long-lasting traditions and societal interests.

    Friedman provides a view of how the world works and where it's trending. I learned about the technological growth of India and China from him before it was much of a topic elsewhere. I don't recall hearing anything biased unless an enthusiasm for technology and human progress is objectionable.
    If he has been flippant or voiced a controversial opinion it just means he is human. Certainly not notable in any of what seems like hundreds of interviews or talk shows I've seen over the years.

    Look him up on Wiki.
    #Friedman has been criticized by organizations such as Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting for defending Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon as a form of "educating" Israel's opponents; according to FAIR, Friedman was explicitly endorsing terrorism by Israel against Lebanese and Palestinians.#

    Nope, He actually says that. Not sure what about so hysterical about it. Wasn't really acting hysterical when saying it. I might link it. Wait: /watch?v=6WQtRI7A064
    Skip to 1:50
    Where he says we can reduce the population by 10-15% which is more the population of America at least. Though you might brush it off, but it's basically a clip of Ted talk he had. It sums it up. Though, it's also not taken out of context, Saw the interview. If you actually are still ignorant of itthen watch his ted talk.

    This Friedman is the type of guy that talks about almost everything and don`t know nothing about anything, what a laugh listening this guy. Khan you simple wasted 1 hour of magnificent videos, what a bad trade-off.

  • @Noureddin91
    @Noureddin91 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I will also add that the reason why it's like calling the founding fathers terrorists is cause they both are fighting against tyranny. Simple.

    I've never seen anything so disgusting as someone putting the terrorism of a man who (to take a specific example) suicide bombed a home for the elderly in cynic quotes like that.

    you do realize over population is a thing, right? And that it inevitably leads to mass die outs, regardless of how it happens. If an animal population exceeds the habitat's carrying capacity, the population will shrink. Humans are absolutely not an exception. A lot of people will inevitably die, and it will be because there is too much demand and dwindling supply. whether it be genocide, famine, or societal collapse, somehow there will be a massive death toll.

  • @amyrpk
    @amyrpk 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Helen Thomas made specifically bigoted, ignorant comments. Its a fallacy to say "criticizing Israel is ... the death knell of any journalist." Hyperbole.

    "scribbling lines" I believe he said something alone those lines. Next he will say: "Just a bunch of lines crossing each other" with Japanese.
    I mean seriously. There is nothing more ignorant than not knowing a single thing outside you're isolated country. Then he support Israel with their War Crimes against Palestinians. What's worse is he's one of those ignorant people that think Palestinians are at fault for their "Terrorism". That's like calling the founding fathers terrorists. So ignorant!

  • @sumitmustafa
    @sumitmustafa 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Palestine (the Mandate of) was populated by Jews and Arabs before the non-Palestinian Arabs decided to oust all the Jews by going to War. Jews and Arabs from Palestine could have lived in peace together had it not been for the other Arabs attacking the land.

  • @Noureddin91
    @Noureddin91 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    and are the majority of Palestine...
    I messed up the last line.
    It sickens me that people down voted my comment for such a biased reason such as: "wel da newz sad dat palatinians r ter-o-ristz."
    Either way, this guy is ignorant. Terrible interview.
