This professor is giving us history of reality of the cause to Nigeria and Africa problems. This is the best narrative I have ever had so far regarding the external interference and caused to Nigeria and Africa problems. God have mercy. JMO

But the problem is still primarily internal. Everything he said about External is Most speculate of plans that may have existed half a century ago and pron doesn't anymore.
If Nigeria solves it's internal problem it won't have to be scared of small outside money.

Indeed. He is a rare treasure to Africa. He continuously emphasized 1 truth that external forces including USA, UK & France are d creators & sponsors of Boko Haram (& other similar groups) via evil selfish people (including some politicians) for their economic interests in Nigeria. Same has been done to various countries in Africa. USA, UK & EU basic foreign policy is to destabilize Africa tru perpetual wars & political instability for their selfish interests to milk Africa of our God-given wealth.

This Professor is truly knowledgeable and truthful in his analysis of the Nigerian situation
But why has Buhari not made use of him and many more like him?
The one reasonable answer is that President Buhari is NOT a NIGERIAN.
If he were a Nigerian he would not have indulged in activities that are harmful to the citizens of the country whom he governs.
The next thing to do is to dismantle the Geographical Space known as Nigeria to its natural National components which existed before they were allocated to the British; courtesy of 1884/85 Berlin Conference Partitioning of Africa.
The is none of the nationalities that would emerge that cannot prosper, either singly or in combination.
This is the beauty of the land of Africa; every square meter of which has been handsomely endowed

If other housa people can team up within themselves, the country could have been better, but fear and mistrust is the problem which makes them to lag behind. I will suggest that they should team up with the east and south to pull down this fulani caliphate completely.

Prof. Khalifa Dikwa PhD is a great analyst and an advocate for peaceful and prosperous Nigeria and Africa in general. Unfortunately, it seems the ones in power never heed to his advice. He is principled and wants decisive actions to be taken... I doubt much if corrupt elements in the system could ever work with him.

Good leaders create bad market for bad leaders and in that market lies our 24/7 electricity, our employment opportunities in both public and private sector, our sound transportation, our infrastructure, our energy resources, our mineral resources, our free healthcare, our free education and so much more being hoarded in the market of corruption.

Boko Haram is a hegemonic struggle between Fulani and kanuri people, we are seeing their struggle as an effort to rebuild defunct Kanem Bornu empire. Once boko Haram is losing some people in leadership has away of dampening the morale of those in pursuit and turn the table against Nigerian army Nigerian chief of army staff once berated Bornu elders for giving support to Boko Haram, who are these faceless elders. When window for discussion was opened during Jonathan's time it was said that Boko Haram has a 100 members war council, unfortunately the members of the council had remained faceless.

I almost didn’t want to listen to this professor because I thought he would reason more like an average northerner who would blindly support Buhari and his government no matter what, just because he is one of them. It is very hard to think or believe that this truly wise man is from the north. I looked and looked again and I said to myself, this is one of the extremely few northern individuals who have demonstrated the benefit of acquiring “western education” The problem is that they shun politics, thereby allowing people like Buhari to give the north specifically and Nigeria in general a very bad name and smeared image. Since this professor is so knowledgable and eloquent, why can’t people like him in the north come together and convince the clueless Buhari to leave government or be impeached? Why watch one of their own shamelessly run the country aground?

Very misleading if Nigerians will allow another fake northern to give fake hope.
Good cop 👮‍♂️ bad cop 👮‍♂️
The "bad cop" takes an aggressive, negative stance towards the subject, making blatant accusations, derogatory comments, threats, and in general creating antipathy with the subject. This sets the stage for the "good cop" to act sympathetically, appearing supportive and understanding, and in general showing sympathy for the subject. The good cop defends the subject from the bad cop. The subject may feel able to cooperate with the good cop, either out of trust or out of fear of the bad cop and may then seek protection by the good cop and provide the information the interrogators are seeking.
The order can also be reversed. When performed in this manner, the good cop will try to gain a subject's trust. If that fails, the bad cop will intimidate the subject to make him crack under pressure. It's a well know technique. Nigerians, don't be fooled.

Economic liberalization or globalization is too high for African competition. The need for some amendments in the draft of WTO agreement must not be overlooked. Let Borno state go back to the production of wheat, fish, rice etc, you start seeing the exit of insurgency. Make Nigerians use Nigerian cotton products, you see the end insecurity in northwest Nigeria. These young men made idle through trade liberalization policy are being engaged by saboteurs to make production difficult.

Chad which was a colony of France has successfully dislodged Boko Haram from their territory.
Why is it so convenient to down play the ideology behind Boko Haram and rather blame the West? Nigeria is the only country in the world negotiating with terrorists, bandits and reintegrating these criminal elements into the society, even while the war is raging on.
Why is so difficult to point out the root cause of the problem and yet expect it to be solved.
Political solution can not apply in ideological war.Yes ,Gen.Buratai is right ,we are likely to be on this war for another 20years, because it is driven by religious beliefs that offer hopes to the insurgents of a better life in the hereafter. Yes you can capture them as many times as possible. They will tell whatever lies to free themselves. But they are likely to go back..

Hei Mr. Ladipupo Akeredolu, The professor you grant interview is an intelligent man. He talks reality according to people, the y President Buhari brought insurgency to dislodge Former Pres. Jonathan with El Rufai, now they're in power .why can they send back to their country and what of ransom paid, Boko Haram are just for business. Have you ever had that arrested/ convicted terrorist are integrated back to society, but only in Nigeria but I believe it will end one day.

It is very illogical to think that some body brought insurgency to fight another in power and that the person brought the insurgency can not control them, we should think more proactively devoid of religious and tribal sentiments to solve the problem.

Nigerian police set illigal checkpoints on many roads and be taking bribe from motorists 7/24, even in most cases their supervisor occasions it.
