A much faster way to do the crane skip is to just jump to those rock pillars that you can see in the lower right at 9:16. From the upper one you barely need to climb at all

At the part with the crane (9:30), I found it easier to jump from the crane to the rock /pillar on the right, and then climb up.

I'm so sick of the devs not doing QC on their games before releasing new content. I got the marshmallow one no problem, but the wrecking ball one won't pop. Thanks for the all the guides, I'm just irritated at the devs.

The crane skip is pretty bad. I say this cause if instead of climbing the crane, you look to your right a little bit, you see a rock you can climb on from the crane, and then if you jump very well you can instantly climb on top of where you wanna go. Now the likelyhood of the second jump is very low, but if you swing once with 1 hand you can put the other one on the ledge or close to it to climb up anyway without wasting too much time making your skip a lot more useful.
PS: you may want to put walkthrough tag on this as well, or in the title. You basically walk people through the whole map so.... may get you additional views.
