Great tips! We also struggled with food waste , so don't feel bad! It's definitely a problem you have to attack conscientiously. Always have a list when grocery shopping and try to preplan meals, this has helped us.

LOVE the files in the freezer idea! You're very creative. Can't believe I'm the first one to tell you that potatoes should not be stored in the fridge. Cool, but not refrigerated, dark place for potatoes. Loving your videos!
Disappointed in the under the sink storage. (But then I have only seen one of 50? videos that might spark a clue.). I can make everything fit, but when maintenance comes over and /or I have to turn the water off, my kitchen and hallway grow long legs of sink containers, as I make room for the human space needed to do repair work. :( The plus was the freezer adaptation. Very innovative. If I put the magazine holders facing each other, I might be able to reserve a slot for a frozen pizza or two.
I like storing my pans with their lids on. I live alone and I have 3 saucepans and 3 frying pans - that's all I need. The trick with small kitchens is to be aware of what you use regularly and have it close to hand. Stuff that you keep because you might need it one day could be stored away, maybe in another room, to free up your kitchen space.

Ma'am, I saw your grits. I grew up on grits as well. My Mom was born and raised in Florida. My Dad was born and raised in Michigan. Dad lived in Florida for a while so obviously that's where he met Mom. Dad didn't like grits, he liked potatoes. So, during the week when Dad worked we had eggs and grits. On the weekends we had eggs and fried potatoes. When my daughter, Erika, was growing up I'd alternate between grits and fried potatoes. Surprisingly you can find grits in both Michigan and Wisconsin. Dad moved us from FL to MI. Then I moved Erika and myself to WI. Erika still eats both grits and fried potatoes and so do I. And Erika's fiance, Jim, likes grits as well. I like your ideas very much. I use the white metal racks from dollar tree in my freezer for extra added storage.

In a previous organizing I used four down to create a small platform for a stack of plastic containers.
I liked everything except the water bottle idea. I prefer using a file holder. I got rid of the ones i don't use. They are easy to reach and not messy
