I love all of your videos!!! I'm from Paraguay, and I want to move to another country. I saw South Africa as a Jewel of the world. I know like every country, SA have their own problems, but SA have a lot of potential too. Thank you very much for the content!!!
@@TshepoMokoena-my6fr I would like to, first I have to perfect my english, next step is finish the university and finally get enough money to move there
We need the president of South Africa to visit the Southern African nations where Rovos rail reaches to promote intra Africa trade and transportation by rail instead of car and plane, this truly is an opportunity that needs more investment. THANKS DAVID! 👍 🇿🇦
I can tell you right now you are a very lucky guy to have met Mr Vos... I've always wanted to meet him till date. I was there last month fortunately he was in Cape town! Being in that yard alone is like heaven on earth... I see a lot of familiar faces in this video... Also Rovos only has two steam locomotives running at this moment the class 19D the one that came to the platform and a 6 class... You also got to see the legendary Ex SAR 5E1s locomotives now owned by Rovos... I've Lawrence a couple of times he's a nice chap! This makes one really proud to be South African!🙏🏿❤️
This train always use to pass my complex where i use to life in KemptonPark, admired it but didn't think it was such a big deal cos it actually is, imagine taking a trip from Cape to Ciaro, literally.... 😂
Now I can conclude that RAVOS is just a little above BLUE TRAIN but I'm very proud of both trains as a South African this country has a lot of visionary people thanks David for showing us these wonderful trains i really like to visit one day.
Also should you happen to come to Kimberley one day and I'm around I'd like to show you the biggest steam locomotive in South Africa a 25NC if you're lucky you'll probably see it in steam. And you'll get to see one of two only left in the world 25 Condenser.
Back, you see the that trains are refurbished… The older Metrorail trains could be refurbished and pushed to alternative energy such Hydrogen fuel cells, solar’s electric, hybrid etc that utilise regenerative braking systems… PRASA could grow to be self sustainable and a competitive energy provider with its excesses… 4:48
