Honestly did not expect the reason why the song, specifically the melody, existed in the first place. Sana Maulit Muli is one of my favorite OPM songs. To know that it originally was written for Julie Vega, I cried. I may have born in 1996 but I know her through my mother who is a big fan of her. This is such a beautiful fact really.

Me too, I wasn't alive yet when Julie passed away, I just heard about her from my elder brother and mother. It's heartbreaking and I'm surprised the song was actually written for her.
