- I decided to eat Marie Callender's frozen dinners and meals for 24 hours and it was actually so fun! I didn't think that cheap and affordable frozen food like this would be this good but eating on a budget can be so good! Marie Callender's wasn't one of my go to frozen meal lines back in the day! but I think I might become a Marie Callender's fan after this review! the budget for this was less than 40 dollars which is amazing! which other restaurants or stores do you want me to review? by the way here my name is Timmy's Takeout and I make food content and challenges!
It can be lonely being a flight attendant. Yeah we get to travel the world but you work with new people every trip and sometimes you don’t bond/hang out. So TH-cam is my friend lol. And TIMMY, you are my favorite TH-camr! I get so excited for each new video. Your personality and vibe is amazing! Your vids really make my day, Timmy 😊💜 And, your assessment of Marie Calenders is spot on 😂. The only items I buy are the chicken and turkey pot pies, and the whole pies, but only the "cream" pies, like the chocolate, coconut, banana, etc. Everything else is too bland or down right bad. 😅 But that chocolate pie is stellar!
I don't know if there are any Marie Calenders restaurants still around, but they were everywhere when I was growing up. We ate there occasionally, and food was really good, like normal sit-down, table service restaurant food. But the pies were the big deal. Everyone went nuts for those. People would order them for the holidays and all that. The baked crust pies were obviously better back then 😂.
It was always a treat growing up and eating at Marie Callendars restaurant to get their potato cheese soup & cornbread with honey butter and a slice of pie! Banana cream and pumpkin ala mode were da best!!! Also their frozen thaw pies like lemon and coconut cream are reallllly good! Try more of her entrees Timmy! Great video

Years ago in the 80s they had a marie calendars restaurant in san diego they were known for pies & dinner now they are at the stores
I was so excited when I saw your thumb nail, Marie Calendar's, but I was thinking restaurant, not frozen food section.
In 1984,5 I lived in San Diego, and every Sunday after Church my Mom & I would go to Maries restaurant & we always got the same thing, a side order of Fettuccine & a side order steamed broccoli, probably ice tea. I can taste it now, mmm- mmm, so delicious, obviously our favorite!
We never had dessert there, we always went to our favorite, Golden Spoon, frozen yogurt & I always got the larget size (lOl!).
Now, 2024, I think I would get a heaping plate of Fettuccine & a huge slice of that chocolate pie!!!

My favorite Marie Callenders things to eat are the chicken tenders with cavatappi mac & cheese & the occasional chocolate satin pie (im not a pie person so i don't eat it often, but i got like 8 of those chicken tender & mac n cheese dinners in the freezer right now 🤣)

here in Canada Marie really skimps on the variety as do most frozen meal selections. I always pull up the Canadian vs USA websites to compare the selections, thank you for a peak into the USA. You exploring American hotels and options is my version of the usual japan/korea/thailand culture vlogs if that makes any sense😅😅

Marie Callender’s used to have breakfast bowls & sandwiches and breakfast pot pies that were actually pretty good, idk why or when they stopped making them tho 🤷🏼♀️ I’ve prob only bought their pies in the last 1-2 decades 😅 loved the vid! 💜ilysm!!🤟🏻
