I agree. He is looking very tired. He seems to have said yes to every interview and has done them with charm and good grace, but he's probably suffering through a hellish schedule. I hope the Finnish delegation give him some time off to rest before he goes to Liverpool. I saw the Finnish tour and thought this is crazy, and not party.

Finns start learning English on 3rd grade (when they r about 9 years old), mostly learning is by book + writing+ listening . So all the spoken part comes more likely if u have English speaking friends, play games, listen music/ read books or your parents put u in some English club. Movies are not dubbed so that helps too(the cartoons for kids are dubbed of course). Who knows, maybe he didn't focus English that much before Eurovision happened? But seems like his English has improved so much since he started these interviews on not his native lang.
Its because the bright lights around them. It often happened during night time when you took pictures with flash on. The reflection comes of the light hitting your retinas and the red comes from the blood vessels nourishing the eye. As we can see the light behind Käärijä is old style stage light and most likely there is another just on the side of the room with the camera so its light is reflecting from their retinas causing them to shine red on the camera.
