i just wanted to add, as a senior in high school rn, there’s been a rise in wearing “childish” backpacks (originally starting as an ironic trend) but now it’s evolved to everyone just genuinely wearing characters they’ve loved since childhood. including characters like spider-man, spongebob, teenage mutant ninja turtles, etc. (this might be heightened bc i go to a visual & performing arts hs, but i just thought it was interesting & applies to this vid)

Love the video! My room is very pastel kid core with some VHS tapes, lots of dolls, and plushies, but I personally don't like the saturated rainbow kidcore style for myself. I like cottagecore, fairycore, or just pastel in general (although I do have some Winx Club, Disney, and Monster High clothes as well).

For the last decade or so I've been inadvertently dressing in a style that I've found to be very adjacent to the kidcore aesthetic, which has been quite fortuitous as it works really well with my career as an Etch A Sketch artist! 🌈 A lot of the fashion choices I make don't perfectly align with the ruleset, but I personally enjoy wearing happy and bright colors as I truly believe it has a positive impact on my mental health.
I was once asked by a colleague why I wear such silly and outlandish things. The way I explain it is simple: some people wait their entire life to wear a beautiful outfit on their wedding day. Why should I wait my whole life for one day when I can wear my favorite and most beautiful things every day of my life? Why deprive myself of such a fun and simple joy when it does not harm anyone else in any way?

Fellow ace here!:)) I have been age regressing for the past years after a mental health break and am disgusted with pretty much all men in Daddy/Little spaces. It´s so disheartening.
I love your channel so much, I used to explore and love fashion as a kid and teen, from scene to lolita(japanese) to fairy kei to gyaru (a bit). Then I became a normie fashionwise due to weight gain followed by depression and lack of creativity since my mental health break.
I just want more colors back in my wardrobe and fun silly hats or puffy scarves. I want to get a larger gauge septum piercing next week and anodize it in a fun color. That will be my start to incorporate fashion items that make me happy back into my life. :) 🧡

Cool vid! Cannot wait for the day where the rainbow is not associated with lgbt stuff. Literally one of the most beautiful things on earth and its been fully co-opted by 1 group.

Saw and had to log in to comment. Saying random shit about kink in this video and misrepresenting men in such a disturbing way is giving... radical feminism. You cannot just bring up age play and start implying people are pedophiles, that shit is not okay. I've heard good things about your videos, but that is absolutely out of pocket.
I hope you actually reflect on what I'm saying here, because I'm sure you're not trying to say something harmful. But maybe don't talk about things that you clearly haven't even attempted to educate yourself on.

i didn’t mean to imply that people who participate in age play are pedophiles, just that there are SOME people use kink culture to exploit others (who are inexperienced and unaware of kink culture). i might be speaking too emotionally because i have many femme friends who were taken advantage of by men who claimed to be members of the kink community yet did not respect any boundaries. i apologize that my personal negative experiences skewed what i was trying to say. i acknowledge that that not every man is abusive or a pedophile. i debated leaving this part of the video in because you’re right, i shouldn’t speak on things im uneducated on. but sometimes when i post a video and i don’t address something, i get criticized. in this part of the video, i was trying to point out that there IS a difference between consensual adults participating in age play vs grooming/pedophilia, but i did not clearly separate those two concepts. i’m sorry i did not express myself properly, and thank you for commenting!
