Astrella got the first 96 so I think the hype is completely justified. Udon is a much newer player and absolutely dominated on this map for a couple of months

As someone that's listened to infant annihilator waaaay back when 10 years ago, and this song when it was first released, I'm very pleased to see this song get the musical respect it deserves from the sheer insanity that each instrument in this song portrays. And you've mastered it! No go do a drum cover lol
i think sacrament is objectively a more difficult map to pass (obviously not for you, but for lower skilled players), with the speed of those patterns and the stamina required. on the other hand, ludicrous speed's patterns are much more "passable" but much, much harder to get a good score on
at least that's my take from observation as a player who is not good enough to SS either level as of right now lol

to answer the question, Ludicrous speed is a much easier map overall but even if it were to be grinded a lot it would be pretty hard to 96. I guess that's why there's a $300 bounty on first 96 lmao

Imo the hardest maps are:
1. Tinnitus
2. Ludicrous Speed
3. Cold Weather

To answer the description, I think that Ludicrous Speed has the edge over Sacrament due to stamina.
As of commenting I’ve beaten both (with Sacrament being multiple times), and I struggled way more with Ludicrous Speed.

obviously sacrament is the “harder” map, but i think ludicrous is much less natural in terms of what players are used to being able to acc which makes it feel foreign and typically harder from a precision standpoint

Just wondering how much time you practice a day and how many days out of the week you dedicate to playing beat saber?
I’m just doing a small survey on any top players I can get a hold of. I’m not anybody special, just for science.
So far it seems that most of the better players I’ve talked to don’t spend more than 3 hours a day playing. It’s just intriguing.
I play probably 6 days a week on average. And average about 2 hours a day. This depends a lot on what I have going on in my life though.

What you can tell from this and the other play he did oraginaly was before his swings weren't as controlled but now they they are a lot if you guys didn't notice

is there a good list of tips/video of advice for players that arent as good but trying to be?
i struggle at around 10* right now,,
in my opinion, there isn’t a super good, in depth guide on getting better at the game. 90% of this game is muscle memory, so getting better almost completely correlates to how much effort you put into the game itself. If you are really looking for some tips, Electrostats has personal coaching, and his youtube channel has a series called TTI (Time to improve). Also Cube Community has a series called BSRA (Beat saber replay analysis). These are the main things I’ve seen to help people get better at the game. Although I’m not sure if they are suited to beginners or intermediate players and whether or not you even need the information they provide.

I'm late to comment this yet I noticed your score before the upload.... Anyway I think ludicrous is harder because once you have the speed for sacrament it's extremely easy. I have a 90.5 and I'm still trying to get somewhere close to an SS on ludicrous

They're around the same difficulty when it comes to scoring but there could those are also two completely different classes of levels, one at the top of the tech spectrum and one at the top of the speed spectrum, and ludicrous is also played much less that sacrament which is shown by the low scores, it really depends on the player like you may just be more of a speed person than tech
