I feel I wasn't unkindly negative, but I would never be dishonest & I don't think you would expect anything less. I get where you're coming from & that you want your followers to know you in a more indepth & differently angled perspective & I really appreciate that. Today I felt was better, so bring on day 3. Personally I can tell that I love your Real Life Daily Vlogs. It takes me back, when I was younger, watching reality shows like the Hills or the City. Your Vlogs have the sort of feeling I'm attached to and I bet many people can relate. PLEASEEEE like this so Negin can see this!! I spent some time looking through the comments on both of the videos and I think I see the reason why people don't like these as much as your regular ones. In your Regular Vlogs you talk straight to us and say what you want and film what you want. In this case, it is a different side of you and we are seeing what you can't show us on your own, but we aren't seeing the part of you that we liked to see. For example you getting ready, changing, doing your makeup. On top of that, I feel you have been a little awkward but that is only because you still need to get used to it. I love both of them! I just wish they were longer because I looooooved 30 minute Vlogs. And I wished you were able to show yourself getting ready. It's a work in progress but do not stop what you want to do. Instead, incorporate a few more things. I love you Negin 💛💛

See, this is the problem! Yesterday everyone was like "I hate this, go back to vlogs". And now that you see her upset and almost crying, you all start going "We love you, do your thing". Why did you have to write bad stuff in the first place? You didn't like it, big deal, move on! Has no one ever taught you, don't say anything if you don't have something nice to say?! She is obviously putting in a lot of effort and it is evident.
exactly! I still like the old vlogs better but there is nothing wrong with this. The only fun part about the other ones is that we were able to be in your room while you were getting ready and go to the parties with u :) lol IM HAVING FOMO
It's about authenticity and creating content people want to view. Honest feedback is super important, and not pointing out the trend of people disliking this new style isn't going to help her channel. Of course no one wants to hurt her feelings, but tbh none of the comments I've seen have been rude or mean. They all say that they prefer the old videos, not that these ones suck and they hate them.
Courtney McCarthy most people expressing their ''opinion'' and saying'' I do not like this'' it is an evident of people complaining , putting the effort to be noticed and stating that they are unsatisfied because they perspective changed , it's like feeding your dog with different type of food when it demands to eat because it's hungry but still it will complain because it got different type of food !! You can never win once you are at the public eye , so why not enjoy what is given to you freely from the person putting the effort assembling all this content :))
Have you never heard of constructive criticism? She's a content creator, she NEEDS to listen to what her audience wants if she wants to keep on doing this. We're the consumers of the content she creates so we have to express our opinion. MY opinion is that her old vlogs were much more aesthetically pleasing, the music and all over style was better and the atmosphere was WAY more personal, which is good. Now it just seems awkward, like them having to perform for a camera and always make moments worth filming. It's fake. I'm telling you, if you live by the quote "don't say anything if you don't have something nice to say" you're not gonna get that far. But yeah, people can always unsubscribe if the content doesn't change.

A few thoughts: 1. Yes, change is difficult. This is as true for your audience as it is for you. 2. Negative feedback is not always a bad thing even though it may feel that way. Maybe you miscalculated, now you can improve. 3. Perhaps some of the criticism is valid. These vlogs so far have been more boring than your previous style. In your earlier vlogs, the audience saw everything through your eyes. We got to live a day/week in your life as you experienced it. These new vlogs feel more like a reality show. We miss the inner experience of being a coconspirator with you. The fact that we are the audience is now much more obvious. The beauty of TH-cam vlogs was the experience of being "in" on something with vloggers. It's a much more personal experience. When the camera is out of your hands, it feels like a TV show. The personal experience is lost.
I think this is very accurate, and not untrue nor unkind. A little criticism is okay, and there are + and - to everything. I think if there was a mixture of some of the old style vlogging, and then the documentary style, there might be a more comprehensive image of who the real Negin is. From the glimpses we get from the old vlogs and even these new ones, I think we'd all like the opportunity to get to know her better :)
Both these comments are on the money. I completely agree. I know she listens and recognizes the many outpouring of creative and expressive energies. She uses her own as well as ours so I'm looking forward to seeing the growth and revision. Couldn't agree more with what you two said, and I think Negin appreciates our support!

Ik vind het vooral erg leuk dat ik nu meer video's van je kan zien en dat de 'minder belangrijke dingen' nu ook te zien zijn in tegenstelling tot de wekelijkse video's. Exactly, I was dying to know from where she got her diamond shaped necklace and I asked her on Instagram but she didn't reply and other girls were asking too. Luckily for me the company contacted me after a week or so saying its theirs and I can't wait to order it. My point is if she had already mentioned it in a video or on Instagram it wouldn't been hard on us. We totally know and understand she is busy, but we really wish and appreciate it if she can be more comprehensive.
I truly think this is a beautiful, really creative idea and I love it especially because I'm a huge fan and couldn't wait to see your weekly vlogs, one of the only channels I'm truly consistent on watching. Actually I don't understand how you show more of your true personality as intended. Don't get the whole thing. The videographer just basically came over to your room after your hair and make up were perfectly done. You did little fitting and went for a staged walk outside. And left to a party. I'm missing the real ness. Like when you first read those negative comments maybe in pajamas and no make up. Telling some personal stories etc. You said you have no power anymore over switch on and switch off the camera. Seems like you call the girl over to film only the perfect moments. That's why at least me as a viewer feel disconnected.
Haven't seen her without makeup once. I know it's only two videos, but I think she's struggling to open up to a physical person holding a camera, as opposed to just a piece of technology she can talk to.
I think it is super fun that you are trying this for 30 days! I love your own vlogs but I think you will enjoy trying out new things and developing from them! Trying a new thing does not have no mean that the other thing has to end 😉

In the last vlogs and this real life series you seldomly share what you are wearing, the lip liners you are using, the way you make your hairs, the earrings you put on, and style related informations. But all these info is the reason why the majority of the people follow you. Please, take this as a constructive feedback - we love what you are doing, your opinions never feel biased, you are funny and creative, and you have a great sense of style!

To say that before: I loved your vlogs. The reason why I don´t like the format is because you made it sound like it´s something special, something different. Something where the viewer gets a more real insight. In the end it´s still a vlog, edited by someone you pay but you have the hands on them what to see. For me it doesn´t feel „raw“ like you announced it. When you made your annoucements I was expecting something longer, more live, more „the viewer decides what to see“. Not just another artificial product that should deliver a certain Negin. That´s just my point of view in explaining why I don´t like it too much.

From the start I must say I have always admired u and respected the kind of woman u decided to became. Your hard work, u make your money, u are independent and u don't let ppl direct how u should live or so on. U have a beautiful relationship with the love of your life and u 2 respect each other and manage to do the hardest thing for couple. Live together and work together. Spending litreally 24 hours together. U are couple goals in my honest opinion I just want to tell u that know that u choose to start this project I respect you even more because you show your true self and I have to say u are even nicer and cuter than what u seem on other blogs that u edit.... maybe because we see you during moments that u would find boring a usually cut when u edit in your vlogs. Love these Negin! It's cool to see how you go through the sort of mundane things that everyone else does. Like walking forever in the airport, your driver being late, having to switch hotel rooms, rushing to get a pic. It's not all glamour all the time. These vlogs are a lot shorter, and just don't have interesting content. I love Negin, and I watch everything that she puts out, but these just aren't up to par with her old content. She's literally in the middle of New York City Fashion Week, wearing thousands of dollars worth of designer clothing, and the most genuine/interesting thing about this video was two minutes in a dog apparel shop? Show me the details of the dresses you're wearing, why you decided to wear this shade of eyeshadow with it, and the super expensive New York dinner you ate. Not Maurits upgrading the hotel room because of air conditioning, or following them back and forth around the hotel. I feel like there could be a happy medium, a mix between her holding the camera and vlogging, and this other person getting shots of them wandering around and talking.
Asmeret Ghebremeskel I watch these videos because I find the things she does/wears/thinks and sees entertaining. Negin is a great vlogger, and I initially subscribed to her channel because she was entertaining. I don't see what my values have to do with that at all... no, I'm not here to emotionally support Negin because she's my friend, because she's not. Her purpose is to create videos and sell her own hair product line, and my purpose is to watch the videos and potentially buy the things she recommends. When she fails to create entertaining content, many people, myself included, will tell her.

I like everything you do. Telling that you are upset about negative comments, shows real you. You always followed your dreams, and that made who you are today. You are so creative, beautiful and such professional. You are true inspiration to me.
PLEASEEEE like this so Negin can see this!! I spent some time looking through the comments on both of the videos and I think I see the reason why people don't like these as much as your regular ones. In your Regular Vlogs you talk straight to us and say what you want and film what you want. In this case, it is a different side of you and we are seeing what you can't show us on your own, but we aren't seeing the part of you that we liked to see. For example you getting ready, changing, doing your makeup. On top of that, I feel you have been a little awkward but that is only because you still need to get used to it. I love both of them! I just wish they were longer because I looooooved 30 minute Vlogs. And I wished you were able to show yourself getting ready. It's a work in progress but do not stop what you want to do. Instead, incorporate a few more things. I love you Negin 💛💛

See, this is the problem! Yesterday everyone was like "I hate this, go back to vlogs". And now that you see her upset and almost crying, you all start going "We love you, do your thing". Why did you have to write bad stuff in the first place? You didn't like it, big deal, move on! Has no one ever taught you, don't say anything if you don't have something nice to say?! She is obviously putting in a lot of effort and it is evident.
exactly! I still like the old vlogs better but there is nothing wrong with this. The only fun part about the other ones is that we were able to be in your room while you were getting ready and go to the parties with u :) lol IM HAVING FOMO
It's about authenticity and creating content people want to view. Honest feedback is super important, and not pointing out the trend of people disliking this new style isn't going to help her channel. Of course no one wants to hurt her feelings, but tbh none of the comments I've seen have been rude or mean. They all say that they prefer the old videos, not that these ones suck and they hate them.
Courtney McCarthy most people expressing their ''opinion'' and saying'' I do not like this'' it is an evident of people complaining , putting the effort to be noticed and stating that they are unsatisfied because they perspective changed , it's like feeding your dog with different type of food when it demands to eat because it's hungry but still it will complain because it got different type of food !! You can never win once you are at the public eye , so why not enjoy what is given to you freely from the person putting the effort assembling all this content :))
Have you never heard of constructive criticism? She's a content creator, she NEEDS to listen to what her audience wants if she wants to keep on doing this. We're the consumers of the content she creates so we have to express our opinion. MY opinion is that her old vlogs were much more aesthetically pleasing, the music and all over style was better and the atmosphere was WAY more personal, which is good. Now it just seems awkward, like them having to perform for a camera and always make moments worth filming. It's fake. I'm telling you, if you live by the quote "don't say anything if you don't have something nice to say" you're not gonna get that far. But yeah, people can always unsubscribe if the content doesn't change.
@Emilia Jussila girl chill :D it is a 10 min video , which does not impact your life, so jeez just pick up videos from TH-cam that you like and enjoy them , you as a CONSUMER , you have the right to choose whatever is in the platform :D
I really like this concept so much better Negin! Not only are you doing something new (literally what vloggers do this?) and it's just so refreshing!
A few thoughts:
1. Yes, change is difficult. This is as true for your audience as it is for you.
2. Negative feedback is not always a bad thing even though it may feel that way. Maybe you miscalculated, now you can improve.
3. Perhaps some of the criticism is valid. These vlogs so far have been more boring than your previous style. In your earlier vlogs, the audience saw everything through your eyes. We got to live a day/week in your life as you experienced it. These new vlogs feel more like a reality show. We miss the inner experience of being a coconspirator with you. The fact that we are the audience is now much more obvious.
The beauty of TH-cam vlogs was the experience of being "in" on something with vloggers. It's a much more personal experience. When the camera is out of your hands, it feels like a TV show. The personal experience is lost.

I think this is very accurate, and not untrue nor unkind. A little criticism is okay, and there are + and - to everything. I think if there was a mixture of some of the old style vlogging, and then the documentary style, there might be a more comprehensive image of who the real Negin is. From the glimpses we get from the old vlogs and even these new ones, I think we'd all like the opportunity to get to know her better :)
Both these comments are on the money. I completely agree. I know she listens and recognizes the many outpouring of creative and expressive energies. She uses her own as well as ours so I'm looking forward to seeing the growth and revision. Couldn't agree more with what you two said, and I think Negin appreciates our support!

People will always find something to complain about. I think the idea is great,something different. Exactly, I was dying to know from where she got her diamond shaped necklace and I asked her on Instagram but she didn't reply and other girls were asking too. Luckily for me the company contacted me after a week or so saying its theirs and I can't wait to order it. My point is if she had already mentioned it in a video or on Instagram it wouldn't been hard on us. We totally know and understand she is busy, but we really wish and appreciate it if she can be more comprehensive.

Actually I don't understand how you show more of your true personality as intended. Don't get the whole thing. The videographer just basically came over to your room after your hair and make up were perfectly done. You did little fitting and went for a staged walk outside. And left to a party. I'm missing the real ness. Like when you first read those negative comments maybe in pajamas and no make up. Telling some personal stories etc. You said you have no power anymore over switch on and switch off the camera. Seems like you call the girl over to film only the perfect moments. That's why at least me as a viewer feel disconnected.

Ik volgede je eerdere vlogs ook al en ik vind de weg die je nu inslaat hardstikke vernieuwend en dapper! Er zijn heel veel vloggers maar dit is een heel nieuw concept. Daarnaast is het leuk om je inderdaad van een andere kant te zien en je komt juist heel puur over. Trek je niks aan van negatieve reacties! Gewoon zo door gaan!

You are doing something different and you should be proud, but please consider that we follow you not only because we like you, but mostly because we like your style. In the last vlogs and this real life series you seldomly share what you are wearing, the lip liners you are using, the way you make your hairs, the earrings you put on, and style related informations. But all these info is the reason why the majority of the people follow you. Please, take this as a constructive feedback - we love what you are doing, your opinions never feel biased, you are funny and creative, and you have a great sense of style!
Omg no no no! I absolutely LOVE these videos. It's something completely different which makes you SO different from everyone else. People want to see what is the norm everywhere and the fact that you're doing something different is what triggers people to be "unhappy" or talk negatively. Some people just don't understand that being a creative person involves stepping out of your comfort zone and just evolving!

To say that before: I loved your vlogs. The reason why I don´t like the format is because you made it sound like it´s something special, something different. Something where the viewer gets a more real insight. In the end it´s still a vlog, edited by someone you pay but you have the hands on them what to see. For me it doesn´t feel „raw“ like you announced it.
When you made your annoucements I was expecting something longer, more live, more „the viewer decides what to see“. Not just another artificial product that should deliver a certain Negin.
That´s just my point of view in explaining why I don´t like it too much.

Hello Negin ❤ I have discovered u when u posted your second vlog here on you tube and watched every video ever since... From the start I must say I have always admired u and respected the kind of woman u decided to became. Your hard work, u make your money, u are independent and u don't let ppl direct how u should live or so on. U have a beautiful relationship with the love of your life and u 2 respect each other and manage to do the hardest thing for couple. Live together and work together. Spending litreally 24 hours together. U are couple goals in my honest opinion
I just want to tell u that know that u choose to start this project I respect you even more because you show your true self and I have to say u are even nicer and cuter than what u seem on other blogs that u edit.... maybe because we see you during moments that u would find boring a usually cut when u edit in your vlogs.

Love these Negin! It's cool to see how you go through the sort of mundane things that everyone else does. Like walking forever in the airport, your driver being late, having to switch hotel rooms, rushing to get a pic. It's not all glamour all the time. I think it's awesome and I'm so excited to see more!! LOL at Maurits laying in front of the front row. Now I can't wait to see what the REAL Mosey is like when he can't control the camera ;)
These vlogs are a lot shorter, and just don't have interesting content. I love Negin, and I watch everything that she puts out, but these just aren't up to par with her old content. She's literally in the middle of New York City Fashion Week, wearing thousands of dollars worth of designer clothing, and the most genuine/interesting thing about this video was two minutes in a dog apparel shop? Show me the details of the dresses you're wearing, why you decided to wear this shade of eyeshadow with it, and the super expensive New York dinner you ate. Not Maurits upgrading the hotel room because of air conditioning, or following them back and forth around the hotel. I feel like there could be a happy medium, a mix between her holding the camera and vlogging, and this other person getting shots of them wandering around and talking.
I think you might be right on the money with this! I like the documentary style too, but it would be cool to see a mixture of the footage...
Asmeret Ghebremeskel I watch these videos because I find the things she does/wears/thinks and sees entertaining. Negin is a great vlogger, and I initially subscribed to her channel because she was entertaining. I don't see what my values have to do with that at all... no, I'm not here to emotionally support Negin because she's my friend, because she's not. Her purpose is to create videos and sell her own hair product line, and my purpose is to watch the videos and potentially buy the things she recommends. When she fails to create entertaining content, many people, myself included, will tell her.
