    Uncle Roger is great. I don't care who he's roasting as long as he's roasting someone.
    When I was younger I worked at a Chinese Laundry restaurant, they had the typical menu and buffet setup but the best food they made wasn't on the menu.
    Every time I worked I would get a meal during my shift and the cooks would make me whatever they were having and they always cooked traditional Chinese food, It was always good.

    As a Thai dude, this is very nice. That's a very traditional recipe, but they forgot one of the most famous sidedishes for this green curry. A Thai-style omelet.
    Awww, come on just Pad Thai? Those things are like our junk food nowadays lol(Well not all of us though, but I and others can't stand eating those every damn day after the office.). Especially for us city boys from Bangkok

      What should I try?

    • @AngeryCrow

      @@TheycallmeHatGuy depends on Thai restaurant you guys got there, cause there are North style, North East style, and the South style food. When I missed home I always try to order some fried shrimp cakes it's always a great appetizer for me, Yum Woon sen(Thai glass noodle salad) is also a fun mix of flavor, but be careful though cause some of these are extremely spicy even for us Thai people here. Of course, these two are simply commonly known Thai dishes.

    Technically, Mark barely did shit in his video. His mother-in-law did most of the cooking.

    Yep, just make a big batch of paste. There is a way to store it in the fridge for up to a month(you'll want to look this up) and it can be frozen as well.

    20:15 Why would you use giblets to make a stock? The giblets are a great adding to the soup afterwards. Why would you sacrifice them and make them useless?

    "Pad Thai is not my favourite..."
    I don't even know where it got it's name. It originated in Vietnam why isn't it called Pad Vietnamese?? And yes Thai always chop chicken (actually all meat) bone and all...

    • @AngeryCrow
      @AngeryCrow 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct, it's not originally from Thailand. One of our general steal the recipe and changes it to Pad Thai (That's what I heard from the actual food historian of Thailand that isn't one of of those food historians that always say "Oh you're wrong! it's always Thai! what you heard is lies".)

    A mortar and pestle is the ultimate tool for Thai cooking?
    A mortar and pestle is a Roman invention, the Romans sure got around didn't they?

    • @dimitry7182
      @dimitry7182 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Typical ‘uneducated yet overconfident in their lack of knowledge’ youtube commenter. The mortar and pestle have existed since the Stone Age, possibly before but no concrete proof has been found of that. Oldest traces of this tool were discovered in Ethiopia, which is a bit far off the region of Ancient Rome.
      It takes one simple, easy and quick google search to not make yourself look like an overconfident clown.
