@@DrivingCars I agree. The GTD is fast and comfortable, and cheaper to run, the GTI is even quicker, but less comfortable I guess. But more fun. I had a Golf 7 GTD, brilliant mile muncher.
Depends on your needs , the torque is what makes the gtd and skoda octavia r/s fun , plus mpg , where thr petrol your be lucky to see 35mpg on average to a 55mpg gtd, if you only drive in the city mainly go the petrol or gte route to save a clogged dpf issues, 3v£n with thf new mk8.5 which ditches the 1.4 in favour of a 1.5 evo setup on the phev
True… it really does boil down to the GTD being ideal for long drives while still being enough fun and much more economical. Not good with DPF issues due to city driving or short trips. The Polo GTI would be better for the shorter trips.
would love to see another drive review with the Hyundai i30 N-line on a dry road without rain/snow.
i will try
Hi, thanks for videos! Which of these 2 cars did you have more pleasure driving, this GTD, or the new Polo GTI? Cheers, Tom
Oh, hard question. But i prefer the gasoline, so GTI is my reply

@@tomashley5869 The MK8 GTD is not fast, performance is OK but it is comfortable when on standard 18 wheels. I've owned my MK8 GTD for nearly 2 years,
What is the real city consumption?

Cuantos km aguantará esa culata?
That’s way too fast in the start of your video. There was a pedrestrian, fortunately in the right side of the road.
And?
@@DrivingCars What if you it somebody just because you where shooting a video for TH-cam?
What if you hit somebody, who is walking on the road? It's the same.
@@DrivingCars No not when you are violating trafficlaws… doing 98 in a 80 zone would put you in jail where I come from.
98 in 80? No, we have 90 km/h on district roads. So, when you see 98 km/h, it's maybe 92--95 km/h. Next?
