I've been on this type of rapids ride at several different parks. There is usually one person who stays almost completely dry and everyone else gets soaked.
Went on a similar ride at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey a long time ago. I remember I was soaked to the skin getting off the barge after the ride was over.
When I came out of this ride, I looked as if someone had just pushed me into a swimming pool 🤣 I was soaked to the bone, not a single item of clothing was dry and yes that included underwear and socks. I expected to be a bit wet but this was something else 🤣
This is absolute fun!! We went last June and you will get wet but it is fun and wild. We love it. Specially in a hot summer day. Can't wait to go back.
I will never understand why people don’t go on these rides in their bathing suits instead of their full clothes and shoes. I think that’s a little dugh dugh!!!!
Haha yeah I didn't realize I was doing that until I reviewed the video. It was our last day at universal and was too cold for water rides previously so we decided to bite the bullet and giver a go...it was maybe 70° out that day and the water was freezing 🥶 ... I wasn't spitting exactly... more like trying to shake it off and prepare for the next dowsing 😆

I was on this exact ride last month at Universal Studios.
This ride is not you may get wet, it’s you WILL get wet.
My wife and I took the family on this ride. I got soaked from head to toe. Fortunately it was a really hot day and drying off was easy.
I was soaked like crazy on this one.Thank God they have people dryers

It is a lot of fun. Plus, you can bring your belongings on the ride without them getting wet. They have a waterproof compartment in the middle. 🙂

I'm riding this Oct. 18. They were on this in Feb. when it wasn't real hot.

We had something similar called the grizzly river rampage when we had opryland here in nash it wasnt as long as this ride

God I hated this ride... my dad hates roller coasters but will get on every water ride.
They should put this ride in vcsnk Bay i kjved it
