Well, that completely blows!!! FARK.. I still remember seeing Motorhead for the first time on "The Young Ones" and loving the way Phil attacked the drums and I marveled at the sheer speed and volume that he could conjure up.
Bless Phil, he had a divinely insane sense of humour, even outside the Pythonesque regiment to which Lemmy affiliated his own. They together were the early core of the Spirit of their age...

Met Phil at Rock of Ages in Garden City, MI. Hilarious guy, signed my leather. And when they played Harpos that night one of my friends got thrown out after the first song(Iron Fist). Phil was in the alley puking, turns out a roadie played the first 4 tunes! So Phil remembered our friend (Mongo) because he loved the name, and got him back into the bar when he was done barfing!! True story. The '80s were the best, and Motorhesd rules!!
