I agree our noses change. I have some favorites and sometimes save it for special occasions. Then forgot about it. when I got back to it, it seems to smell differently and some of the perfumes I don't like suddenly smell good.

I know the feeling, it was towards TF black orchid. I smelled it during the summer and couldn’t do it. Wore it in the fall and winter and it dances with my chemistry and nose again. Same thing with Armani Diamond Rose in the spring. I can do it in the summer month so will try it again next spring. But then again my collection is not as large as yours.
Today I sold on Depop Valentino Donna and Zara Red Temptation. I love rose scents, but after getting into niche fragrances, Donna’s rose smells too “boring”. Red Temptation was supposed to be a dupe for BR540, it’s very similar, but it lacks sweetness, plus I now have the original and much prefer it.

L'Interdit Rouge is the only one in the line that i like. It smells weird in the bottle but it's si sexy. On me, it's so juicy and sexy (on cold wether!!). I received as presesnt Nina extra rouge and together, they just rick. I only use them together and the result on me is stunning 🤘🤘🤘

Weird request: Could you do a video about scents that are good to wear when eating? I find certain fragrances that I love are off-putting when I have a meal, while others compliment food perfectly. Ie imaginary authors’ saint julep is great for brunch. Thanks!

I paused the video to order Coffee Break and 2 others from TK. I love BO Intense, Extreme & Illicit Green but want a stronger coffee note.
I have l'interdit rouge, now during the summer(I'm in the UK), It smell completely different than it did before the heat came or maybe it's my nose. Now I don't know if I like it or not, it reminds me of incense sticks or the way a new age store could smell. Anyways, if my perception does not change in the fall, I will declutter it as well.

You’re so tan and your makeup looks great. I need to declutter, too. I think sometimes we love a perfume at first and then it settles. There ends up something being off. Noses change. It’s normal.
Urfgh, I had the same with the OG Alien. Still waiting to retest it during winter. Last year I got a sample, and it smelled a bit artificial like grape juice + jasmin, but was heavenly. BUT when I bought my bottle in spring, there was only one note I could smell: it was screechy liquorice in a bottle. Almost like mosquito repellant, the deet kind u smear all over your arms. -.-
A fragrance can smell wonderful or okay to me from one day to the next. My sense of smell, however, has been different since Covid and I need to unload some fragrances based on that alone.

How hard is it to declutter? Too hard for me 😂 all my respect Gaby! I can see why you bought Alive in the first place: I have been on the edge of buying it for a long time for it’s aromatic components but it a tad too sweet probably. There is an accord that is niche like but it’s covered with sugar, not sure if I like it or not, it’s very simple in comparison to the niche scent that reminds me of. 😘

I bought bon bon ages ago, loved it. tried it again recently and it smells like bad breath to me now 🤷🤷 Noses do change apparently

I didn‘t like L‘interdit Rouge either and I love Tuberose. As I don‘t know where to sell my fragrance I just used it up as a body spray. Lovely. Not. Where do you sell your fragrances when you get rid of them?
Mont blanc smells JUST like you described it… it’s chalky to me and I decluttered it as well

Wow we are so in sync. I hate signature. Extreme is the only black opium I like but it doesn’t last. I don’t like sud pacific frags that I have tried. And everything else - same.
