Great tutorial video. I was surprised to see how much more work it is to install the wiring harness than the actual hitch kit!!

I always wired straight in but one year I put a wiring harness in with the module on my Toyota Highlander. About two years in we started smelling burning wires while driving, we also lost our brake lights. When I got home and checked the smell came from the module, it was melted a bit and burnt.

How do I determine if I need a brake controller - such conflicting info about this. My Aliner has electric brakes.

The harness clip under the wheel caused me alot issues getting off! Alot harder than it looked in the video. Any tips on getting it off easier? I felt like i was going to break it off.

You can use a pair of flat nose pliers to push down the tab just make sure to be gentle and not damage the housing.

Absolutely can’t find info on the wiring harness I need for 2020 Sedona anywhere. Including the dealership.

All hitch manufacturers currently have this in their queue. Once the parts have been verified we will have a part available for the 2020 Kia Sedona. You'll have to check back regularly for when they have it ready.

Call me crazy!?.... why would you connect your wiring to the battery while you are installing it? That should be the last thing you do.🤷‍♂️

Great question but as long as installing the in-line fuse is the last thing you do, then you are perfectly safe!

Why do all these videos have that REALLY irritating repetitive "music" in the background????
