Thanks masters, All the neovim devs, The creator of neovim spells, You make wizards, My friends call me so, they have zero idea whats going on in my editor. They use vscode for all code. One day, I told my friend to see my config and edit according to your need, He was editing neovim configs on vscode, I die.
@@dtomvan is it valid to say you can’t have some custom features with open internet access to XYZPluginInstall though? I think the effort required is large but the task is still achievable (from a noob perspective)
Prime using pop_os these days?? Cool. I love the DE has a built in auto-tiling mode, and with a few extra gnome extensions and config can mimic most of the features of a proper tiling wm
What extensions are you using to make it better? The default shortcuts and behavior are a bit strange to me, but I don't want to switch to i3 either. Not for me anymore.
@@kyle8575 I have "disable workspace switch animation for GNOME" to get that snappy i3 feel, as well as "Space Bar" which replaces the Activities button with an i3-like workspaces bar. There's also "auto move windows" to automatically open certain applications in different workspaces. Then it's just a case of setting up bindings how you would prefer (the "Space bar" extension helps you set i3-like shortcuts as well)
@@kyle8575 edited my reply -- realised it is Space Bar that helps set a lot of the bindings as well. Hope this helps! The biggest difference from i3 that bothers me (other than the tiling algorithm) is moving a window to another workspace. In i3 it will just send the window to that workspace, in pop it will also switch the view to that workspace. Minor annoyance. Let me know how it goes
@@samcassidy2441 Works so much better now! I appreciate the help. Going to play around with configs and see if I can disable the switching workspace behavior on window move. Thank you :)
got the right recording this time, good jorb you tube man

Hell yeah correct video, let's goooooo.
Ooh nice, stormgate thumbnail
If you have to program from an air gapped network, would writing your own plugins be the only option aside from sneaker net?
Vim buildin features are good enough to code with, but this is just a fun/nice thing to have.
