Thank you very much! I surprised myself with this result :) And thank you for your videos about fixing old game boxes - they helped me a lot in this endeavour 👍
The first thing I like to say is congratulations on the purchase. Fantastic video on how to save these classic game boxes. I love the travel iron, and I will certainly be using this video guide to repair some of my game boxes. 🔥👏
ZAK MCKRACKEN is - and always will be - a legendary classic game on the Commodore 64 and Amiga 500 😺👍🕹️. Also, your video deserves a big retrospective like 👍🕹️ from Vantaa, Finland 🇫🇮 😺👍.
@@patriksretrotech Thank you! Not feeling very confident with glue, I feared I would ruin the box. But I am very pleased with the result. You know my love for chainsaws too well 😂
Very nice and informative video. Shame I don't have any tatty boxes that I could apply the procedures on. Well, I only have 2 boxes at all. Well done anyway 👍.
Wonderful video! Loved watching this and what a great result! You can be very proud with this on the shelf in your gameroom! What's the last song in the vid by the way?
@@stefanberghuis8405 Thank you very much! I surprised myself with this result 😄 Turned out way better than I expected. The songs (except the Zak title theme, ofc) are my own. The last one is a FT2 tune I made back in the end of the 90's if I remember correct. It's called "Tum-tum-tum" (silly name!) It's in the Mod preservation archive, if interested: amp.dascene.net/detail.php?detail=modules&view=8854
I think that's a lovely job, something to be proud of on the shelf and enjoy looking at, great result

@@garygillgaming Thank you! I will def not shy away from buying poor shaped boxes again. Where there is money to be saved, there you find me 😅

Thank you! Yes, I could not agree more. It reminds me of those care free days from childhood. Lovely game!
Awesome! Had no idea one could restore these old damaged boxes like this 🎉
@@rimfrostenretro Thank you! The result was way better than I anticipated. I will def restore more boxes when/if the need arises.
Very good final result! The trick with wet cloth and iron did the trick! I'm very happy you gave this awesome game a second life.
It really turned out great! Just getting it back into the correct shape was like a 90% improvement.
Wow! I didn't think doing such a rescue was possible. Now I'm eager to try it myself.
@@xyzxyzxyzxyzxyzxyz Do it! I hesitated myself but it turned out really good imho.
👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@user-ve3gh5xg9q Thank you!
Amazing difference! It didn't even need a final adjustment with the chainsaw :)

Very nice craftsmanship , quality mancave 😮
Thank you very much, my friend!
@@BlueYakk watching your videos 🙂↕️
Nice, the results look fantastic! But did the box come with two sets of diskettes or is that something you added?
@@mkn_retrogamer Thanks! I already had the C64 disks (just the disks) so I added them to the Amiga box, just for the heck of it :)
Dude amazing job man 👏 I have a box that I'm gonna try this with. Just need to find time! 🥲 You have such an amazing collection 🔥👏
Thank you kindly! Do it, I amazed myself, finally gathering the confidence to actually try 😄
