In my med school we have a volunteering program where med students go to primary schools and the kids bring in their 'sick' teddy bears. We show them what doctors do on the teddy bears (fake x-rays with a chalk board, 'bandage' them up, etc.) to try and reduce children's fear of doctors and hospitals.
Doing the OSCEs on teddy bears is such a good idea!
Bet this stuffed animal was like “ they said I’d be a kids fav toy in the whole world” 😂
