Love how your heart chain sweater turned out! :D You know I have the same issue you've mentioned, about the sweaters being too short in the back. My remedy is either a high-low split hem, or short rows only in the lower section. If you were simply to add more short rows in the neck area it would lift the neck section more, but you really want that added length/wedge in the bottom section. I hope this helps!
I have never done short rows lower but I have heard of people doing ti before. Is it possible to do short rows in ribbing or would I need to do them before my ribbing?
@@MadeByyMatt Sure it's possible! :D I'd recommend german short rows as they're less noticeable than the regular kind (just mentioning in case you haven't worked with those before). You could even retroactively add short rows to the back hem by picking up stitches from the ribbing and simply starting the short rows there. That's what I first did when I was trying to understand what kind of adjustments would make my garments fit better. When doing it retroactively it'll feel like the picked up stitches are super noticeable at first, but after blocking it'll smoothen out. Good luck!!
Thanks so much! I am currently looking for work in Korea but in my free time I do street photography, knitting ans Ive been trying to visit every yarn store in Seoul
