I failed my second driving test last week and the only reason why I failed 30 mins in was cause, I stalled on a roundabout.... the car was far away but examiner said that they had to slow down for me 😭😭😪 I was so close to having my license, like 5/10 mins away 😭😭😭😔

Don't get me wrong. She is a great driver. But I can't help feel this route in this area is significantly easier than where I do my test. Most of mine is on twisty, narrow, country lanes with minimal visibility, where speed limits vary from 20mph to 60mph and change every 10 mins. Whereas in this, I can't remember her going past 20mph or beyond 3rd gear. Visibility is a lot clearer in this test too, less hazards to worry about and clearer road markings. Just my opinion anyway.
@@DrivingSchoolTV it's in the Canterbury/Herne Bay/Fordwich area in Kent! There are open roads but a famous route they take you on is through the lanes to Fordwich, where there are multiple sections I need to be in first gear (SUPER tight turns, oncoming traffic, narrow bridges). After practicing them Hither Green looks easy lol!
Congratulations!! I failed my test as I let nerves get the best of me, I hit the curb (which I had never done before) my instructor and family were shocked. Everyone was like you’re defo gonna pass cause I had been driving perfectly well. Then I got to the test and yeah 🤣
Ahhh man sorry to hear that! But nerves are a killer, even worse when you're not expecting them. We've got loads of vids and comments and tiktoks on nerves. And now you're in a unique position that you have first hand experience of a driving test so you know exactly what to expect and you can be more relaxed next time. Also remember, it doesn't matter how long it takes, so long as you're always learning and pushing and keeping a positive mindset. You will get there!
@@a.856 also you know how when you used to check the DVSA site for available slots, it would tell you the next valuable slot. Now it doesn’t do that anymore, so you got to basically check every day one by one which is a huge pain! I got lucky and found one in 8 days. Just constantly check whenever you get time. Iam sure you’ll find one soon, good luck!

@@DrivingSchoolTV I'm really sad and disappointed because a cyclist started turning right then cut left in front of me and the examiner failed me saying I wasn't aware enough, he didn't even give me feedback at the end, he just said I've failed and left the car, I'm so disappointed because I only made 1 minor, I don't feel like I deserved a fail, but what ever happened happened just need to move on and focus on the next one :(

Yes, correct I asked her to take the third exit but she missed it so I directed her to go around the roundabout again and take the correct exit.
