- This video features the 2023 Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo S, a car which can be obtained by getting 20 points in the "Modern Horizons" Festival Playlist.
Starting with the positives it has decent acceleration off the line and good top speed, a usual staple for EVs. However the handling is downright awful, it's a heavy car with a lot of understeer. You have to throttle control a lot in order to get this car around, adding too much throttle in the corners causes the car to slide around a lot. You lose far too much time in the corners and can't make use of the power properly. It's a good car for long sprints but it doesn't do well on technical tracks, you genuinely need to push hard for better results. As far as A-Class cars go you're better off with driving something else, there are better EVs to choose from.

When I usually do these videos on EVs I usually give these cars the benefit of the doubt, saying that they're not bad and giving them a few positive comments here and there.
This one however I can't give any positives really, the weight of this car just mucks everything else up and handicaps the car quite badly. You lose so much time trying to hold its hand through the corners, you can't really capitalize on your opponents mistakes because it takes a while to accelerate back up to speed. I don't have problems with EVs in this game usually but the fact that they get the short end of the stick most of the time just makes me sad. As a huge Porsche fan it hurts to say that I don't like a car from their lineup, they are usually a joy to drive in this game but this one...this one not so much. 😢
I can't wait to get this car, paint it and never touch it again 😂

It's not awful to drive all things considered, it's just the weight that's the issue in my case lol.

I was originally hoping that they would add a Sport Turismo instead as that's the more normal wagon/shooting brake. I also would've preferred one of the less powerful trims like the GTS or 4S just so we would have more PI to work with, I'd happily trade less power for the ability to drop some extra weight off this chunk.
I'm tempted to build this for Dirt and see what I can do with it as I haven't touched it yet.
I think it would make for an okay dirt build, maybe the understeer could be put to use better.

It is a nice looking car to be honest, I am a big fan of Porsche so there may be a little bias. 😅
to be honest car is pretty good, above average times as purist, heavy yes but easily manageable (personally). i noticed you were downshifting to 1st gear a lot, and it just makes the car slower. first gear is for launch only :3
I did make the mistake of switching to first gear a few times, it's kinda ingrained in me lol. To be honest I don't know if I even did this car justice really, I was just really put off with how heavy it was. This is probably one of the few times where I felt inadequate with my driving to be honest.
The fact that this car has the option to add the forza wing makes me want to cry
The less we speak about the Forza Aero the better, that spoiler gives me anxiety 🤣
@@C1-Runner the only positive is that it brings your pi down so you can upgrade further, but it's criminal that the Forza front aero increases pi as much as it does, for the sake of +1 handling & +1 braking

I think the panamera would be a little better than this lol. This car isn't that bad but I don't like how heavy it is.

This car is honestly one of the more usable EV’s that can actually hold it’s own.
I do agree with you though to be honest this car was probably one of the low points for me, it does okay in some areas but the handling just makes it really hard to deal with.

It's not all bad but the handling is just too much of a hassle in my opinion. You can genuinely feel the weight on this car, makes things difficult overall.
I did change groups yes, had someone from RFAA come by after I left Eden a while back so I joined.
Lmao Tunnel Run is always such chaos.
Tunnel run is one of those tracks that you always have to be careful in, it's so narrow lol.
Which is why I hate that track mostly with higher classes like S1 or S2
@@Lada-cq2lr S1 and S2 with narrow tracks are always chaotic lol, you can always expect a wreckfest lobby. It's better for A and B Class in my opinion.
@C1-Runner Agreed, and you said it extremely correctly. It is a literal wreckfest there, which most of the time I want to throw my computer out of my window and never play a single Forza game ever again

Amazing car and insane speed as A class. [-41+] clan looks annoying bc they kept spamming chat and played like toxic and what is that ur clan [RFAA] ?
It's alright overall, I feel the handling is probably the only thing that I don't like but it's okay. RFAA is a clan I joined after I left one of my older ones, was approached by a member to join them.
Me never been in the clan a whole time i have played forzas and idk which clan i should to join and what it helps me haha
@@Csuen I'm more of a loner when it comes to racing games but I do it for the social aspect I guess, I might not be super active there but the clan itself is very nice to speak and interact with.
