@@fox40world that is too bad. I am looking for alternative whistle sounds when we are refereeing water polo games during practice. The Fox 40 Pearl and Fox 40 Electronic Whistle are good but being able to switch tone or having tone options would be great for this whistle.
@@BenjaminHalsall They have another E-Whistle with 3 different tones, except that one doesn't have a rechargeable battery, they use 9V batteries (the same "block" style batteries that smoke alarms use)
Ordered 2 weeks ago and got it now. Looks very good and the quality is much much better than the battery version. The button is the only one (active all the time). I don't like that. The tone is okay, but not as beautiful as I expected. Last (very poor) aspect: The charging cable is type micro-USB! In 2022 - hello????? Even if the item looks nice and the quality seems excellent, I'm disapointed by the contras a little bit.

@@KilkennyCats yeah I use the 9v fir officiating basketball, lacrosse, and football. Had some coaches complain they it wasn't loud enough. So I know this 120 db. Will work better. Excited to use it.

A green light will appear when you press the button to sound the whistle, if the battery is low this light will be red. If this is the case, you can use the USB charger to recharge the whistle.

After less than 1,5 years of use it's EXTREMELY quiet and therefore useless - 60€ piece of s**t
I've had this model since September and have noticed the volume is now much reduced - it is fully charged, any ideas why this would be the case?

The grip on the whistle has faded. After 15 months but not the sound . Lol wondering how long the grip will last.

I wouldn’t trust it for a full sized game. A real whistle will always be better
