coincidently I am waiting for delivery of this same model today from amazon. Thank you for all your videos. I have started listening to radio just since last week, so i am very new. Your videos are very well made and really helped me get Indian user perspective on models. I have purchased. Xhdata D-109 which is really good. Also received yesterday Xhdata D-808, so currently comparing D-109 vs D-808 and absolutely enjoying this new hobby!!! Purchased Panasonic RF2440D for kitchen (maid) and mother's use, because it seemed like a simple to operate and robust radio which will take abuse well and will mostly be kept on a platform and SW is not going to be needed for them. THANK YOU for your reviews and depth of knowledge. You are making the best and most informative videos by any Indian.

@@pravindersheoran the Panasonic RF2400D arrived today and am super pleased with it. Its really well built, is easy to tune, very smooth and good size tuner dial and i really like that is has a red led indicator when tuned into a signal, all make it a good buy for elderly person etc. At Rs 3758 its of course expensive for just AM/FM basic radio but the build quality shows. the design very appealing to me. Sound quality is also good and is quite loud. Quality is not same when on full loudness, but for me it is not for a very large space so that not an issue.
I had initially purchased the Pagaria portable Fm/AM/Sw which you have reviewed on your channel, the one with the torch on the side, bluetooth/USB/Tf etc but cancelled as I thought it would be confusing for my aged mom. Also seemed like it could break given that i expected some rough use/drops off the bed or kitchen use by maids etc...that was priced at Rs1349. I am hoping the panasonic will outlast anything else to justify its almost 3 times the price.

Vijay pal ji, Vikas ji ne uttar de hi diya, inhone experiments kar kar ke dekhe huye hain. Mera personal experience nahin hai aisa karne ka. But V/A ratings check kar leni chahiyen hamesha. Ek bhaisahab ne US se 110V wala bahut mahanga Radio yahan 220V de kar foonk liya tha hahaha

Praveen jee, DELHI A 828Khz, Delhi B 666khz, ye kis stations ke naam hai, aur. Delhi me Vivid bharti MW par ate hai kya
Delhi B ab band ho chuka. Delhi A abhi bhi haj Indraprastha naam se aur ye 819 kHz par hai.

Hi. My city doesn't have FM. Nearest FM stations are like 200 Kms away. So will it catch those signals or not? I want to listen Radio Mirchi, Red FM etc.
Perhaps it won't catch those FMs, they are too far away. You need a Radio like Xhdata D-808 (even with D-808, you might need to make an external Antenna for FM), watch this video:-

OK. One more thing. Normally, when we buy radios, the normal All India Radio stations work fine without even extending the antenna for example stations like Akaashvani Jaipur, Akaashvani Suratgarh, Akaashvani Delhi Indraprasth etc. But FM radio stations need antenna even when they are not very far. Is it because FM stations have weak power?@@pravindersheoran
@@fanatic632 ji, it is because FM waves can't travel much distance.
AM (MW) waves can travel along ground and also can take advantage of ionosphere to travel long distances but FM waves can't do so. Also, you can watch tomorrow's video (releasing at 5:30am) and understand more about it.
Also, in the playlist 'basic information about Radios' section of this channel ,many such interesting fact are explained in easy to understand manner.
