Here we go! The very first speedrun for DESPERADOS 3 on desprado difficulty full game on youtube.
I'm probably done with desperados 3 for this year, I'll come back to break my own map records during next year for sure.
Desperados III is a story-driven, hardcore tactical stealth game, set in a ruthless Wild West scenario. Play smart if you want to succeed. A good plan can make the difference between survival and finding yourself at the business end of a pistol.
Desperados 3 is very similar to commandos games, Robin Hood and the legend of Sherwood, Shadow Tactics...
In short Desperados 3 is a isometric tactical real-time action strategy set in the Wild West.
It it a prequel to Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive.
You'll play as younger John Cooper, meet first time with Kate and Doc, and listen to some phenomenal music along the way.

i honestly love this game. the music, visuals, gameplay and characters. all done really well
I spent 3 months in a row playing it, that rarely happens in my case.
Me, realising I could just snatch the letter without clearing the whole whorehouse: [sounds of self-dissapointment]
Me, realising I didn't have to activate decoys and could just mind control DeVitt instead: [internal screams of pain]
Me, realising I didn't have to kill everyone at the final showdown, just the blue ponchos: *[screams intensify]*

It takes time to get good in this game. When I did this speedruns no one had them on the internet. Very few had normal diff speedruns, but what you see here is the first Desperado difficulty run, I invented all routes and tricks for days and days(that's how much I enjoyed this game).

i am playing now desperados firat time and I want to quit the game overall because of the eagle falls mission, it is such a frustrating and uninteresting mission... but hearing you now complaining about it being your least favourite mission, i might continue to play the game.

What are the run rules? Why don't you use the speed-up time more? Awesome run anyway
No rules, it's any%. Only count is mission end time, combined it gives 2h 13min for desperado difficulty. I don't use speed-up time cause I rest my mind while I'm waiting and it doesn't change end game time at all. Thanks :)

When does the run start? Or end? Video is 1½ hours longer than the run :s
Video is longer cause of talks, commentary, end game stats, routes and recaps. If you want content without all of that, you got chapter 1 and chapter 2 desperado diff on my youtube channel under desperados playlists or speedruns playlist, as well as all maps.

I can tell you got frustrated trying to route the last map
I found a solid route, it can be tweaked for sure, I'm just tired man, 25 days of desperados 3 every day. I'm done for this year, I'll come back to it next year and break every record there is.
That last map is huge, one small mistake or bad rng and here we go again.
I believe you drop under 23 min for sure, but less then 15 on desperado will be a huge challenge for all speedrunners, after all this one in the vid is the first published on internet, that shit is hard as hell.
@@Werglia While doing the "Don't switch sides" badge on Desperado, I managed to sneak almost the entire way to the left side without disguise so I'm sure that it's very doable with isabelle in a speedrun.
@@Werglia Made it in 14:39 with a very dirty run full of mistakes and brainfarts. It's about a third your strat, a third Optibum's and a third mine. The last part of the left side is pretty rng (lot of guards searching around) but can be done in a somewhat clean way by not rushing. uploaded it
