They were underrated. Deedee's voice live is omg! Tiffany captured my attention. Damon good looking as always and smooth with the dance moves. Albert and Chase are great live too. Well put together group.

It's scary how I remember every single detail about this performance and I havent seen it in 30 years. Maybe because I watched it like 20 times back then 😄. I was living in the Caribbean without cable but my dad sent a video cassette of this MTV Clubhouse episode. Thanks dad.

I remember flipping channels when I was about 14 or 15 and there was THE PARTY ON CLUB MTV! I knew they'd made it! I was proud, I screamed at the top of my lungs, I sang, I danced. This was an amazing moment. Back then you had to sing live and dance, no excuses. The Party were so underrated. They all sound great, and Tiffini is dancing her ass off!
A blast from the past. How things have changed.....Here's to some things coming back. I have hope.

I think this gets even better the more I watch it. This is a fantastic song! They sound sooo good live! And the dancing is superb!!! The choreography is top notch I think. I love it when Deedee does that move then spins around and goes back to the mic. Just awesome!

Happy 30th Anniversary to The Party, they were the first act off of MMC as well as The Disney Channel. They paved the way for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and *NSYNC as well as Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers the list goes on. There wouldn’t be a Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, *NSYNC, not even a Jonas Brothers or a Hannah Montana if it wasn’t for The Party. I thank Chasen,DeeDee,Tiffini,Albert and Damon for keeping that door open.

Wao, The Party, one of the most synchronized groups of young people with a vocal, dance, and fashion style at another level! I am amazed by the quality of Deedee's voice live singing (sounding like the record), demonstrating her vocal range. In their live performance, I loved their energy, great choreography, and contact with the public, and the reciprocity that made them vibrate and make a live show something spectacular! I loved it! So, they gave the song a magnificent twist on Synth-Pop-House style and a fine rendition of the classic Rock song version of Dokken "In My Dreams"!

I worked with a bunch of metal fans in the receiving department of Tower Records Boston and when I put on their In The Meantime In-between Time CD and this song my manager went, "hey.... this is a Dokken song!" I had no idea. I just knew it was their biggest chart hit.
Believe it or not but I Found Love charted higher on Billboard.

Crazy they’re performing with a live mic, they had so much talent. In hindsight they should’ve brought up a couple more people from the show and split them into a boy band and a girl group. DeeDee as the lead of girl group would’ve been interesting. The guys in a true boy band could’ve been explosive. Or maybe the timing was just wrong, i know as a kid i was listening to the Party one year and Nirvana the next.

I heard this on the radio. Never knew another band did a cover of this song by Dokken. Though this is more a tecno/dance version, they kept the melody and lyrics the same. Though I love the original, this version is pretty cool.
