I made one this weekend. Thanks for a base foundation. Do some more improvements if I build another

What are the angles cut at I'm trying to bild the cofin coffee table for my final for shop class

I'm honestly not sure what the angles are. I cut the thin plywood to the shape I wanted then basically just wrapped the 2x2's around it. Sorry. That's probably not the answer you were looking for. Good luck on your final. I'm sure it will come out incredible.

I have a bunch of spare 2x4s from a past project, can those be used to supplement the 2x2’s?

Sure. It will make it heavier, but 2X4's will work just fine.

Do you have the miter angles for the frame cuts?

@@EmoJoshSavesTheWorld I'm not sure what the exact angles are. I suck at trying to figure that out. I cut out the base using the light plywood and then I line the edges with the 2X2's. You kind of have to play with it. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Good luck with the project.

Could you list the materials used for this? :)

I think I used 2 or 3 sheets of 4ft X 8ft 5MM plywood that I got at Lowes. It's usually $15/sheet. If you plan to make this larger than 4 ft you made need more. The rest of the wood was 2in X 2in wood. They sell them in 8ft lengths. I think I used at least 10 of them. As far as hardware, I bought (4) handles, two sets of hinges and a lid support hinge to keep the lid open (the last two depend if you want to have a lid that opens or not, if not you don't need the hinges). Other then that a box or two of screws 2 1/2 or 3 inch ones will work. I think that was it.
