He was then discharged and told to lay off of the drugs. 4 months later he came in after having a heart attack, had to have by pass surgery with 3 vessels occluded. His drug of choice had always been cocaine, he was 33 and yes he gave up all drugs after his surgery and we never saw him again 👍

As a cardiovascular nurse, I had a young guy as a patient who came in with chest pain. I went into his room and he was smoking marijuana. He was then discharged and told to lay off of the drugs. 4 months later he came in after having a heart attack, had to have by pass surgery with 3 vessels occluded. His drug of choice had always been cocaine, he was 33 and yes he gave up all drugs after his surgery and we never saw him again 👍
