Erica is SO sus… so many hesitations and pauses, a lot of doublespeak, a lot of skirting the line, a lot of contradictions, over explaining irrelevant details to try to deflect from things she doesn’t want to talk about, and a nervous tone throughout; all the signs of someone lying through their dayum teeth. She’s not just hiding something, she’s hiding a lot. And so is Brittany for that matter.
Erica and Britney are 100% panicking because they know how bad they look. Amber blames her BPD for being a home wrecker, i cant stand folk that use mental health for being destructive . All three of them are insane .
To be fair, a personality disorder untreated is not just a "poor excuse ". It IS context to the situation. The things I did while untreated, I would never do today. I 100% blame my bpd, because I know I did my best and still acted much worse than amberlyn. Now today, me doing my best is a whole other story and does not involve hurting people. These disorders can be very serious. Of course it affects you mentally and therefore your choices in life is affected too. Its like if you dont have legs, and you also dont have a weelchair yet, your ability to run fast will be bad. Its not an "excuse ", its context. Doesnt make anything right or wrong, but still, it is context to the situation. If someone spills hot coffee on you and you get Hurt, it kind of is relevant if that person has a shaking disorder in their arm. In the future they may learn to keep that shaking arm even further away from people while holding warm liquid. One thing i have learned is to stay away from people more and not trust people 100%, because I know that if I fall in love, its kind of too late to be rational. 😅 so I have to know EVERYTHING before i even entertain that idea. But it took me a very Long time to learn how to do that, and I was Lucky to get a good therapist after ten years with really really bad ones. Red: about not trusting people, someone with extreme bpd of course will not trust anyone, but they desperatly want to, and therefore may fall for the stupidest things while at the same time having a bad feeling. But you are so used to your bad feelings being caused by delusion, that you try to ignorere them even in situations other people would have reacted to them. But its like crying Wolf, you get that bad feeling all the time and most of the time its wrong, so you will always try to push it away and therefore fall for all kind of psycopaths. To me, not trusting people - now - is more about not even trying or hoping to trust. Just accept the fact that you never know. So if I feel jalous, I wont try to change the behavior that makes me feel that way, I just decide if I can live with that feeling or not - and if not, I will leave. Not try to control the other person. Also accepting that yes, someone may leave me, no matter what they say, and someone may cheat. There is nothing i can do about that. Trying to control them will not change that. I just be the best person i can, and its up to them if they want to cheat or leave, and if they cheat, I deal with that when it happens, and its up to me if I forgive or walk away.

It was only about a week about people found "Tommy" and all about her past...because she posted her. Now she's said Erica's name days after that experience which she said is ruining lives . She never ever learns, even the most basic things. She hasn't seeked therapy or help . She's taking no steps at all to help herself and give herself tools to navigate dating/relationships . I fully understand that bpd to a point has played a role in this, my issue is with her blaming everybody else but never looking close enough at herself and finding the appropriate therapist . On what I believe was her FB page it says she is a substance abuse counselor, so I am assuming she's claiming that is the same things as a licensed counselor. Either way, I wholeheartedly do not believe she is. Someone in that profession wouldn't want to be in the limelight that she has put herself in.
@lizabethdsj in Michigan, there are substance abuse counselors, people who are in recovery frequently who take special training that is not degreed. They are "certified" in coaching people in recovery, thru peer support, active listening, setting boundaries, helping them recognize triggers, etc. I don't recall how long the training is, perhaps 2 nights a week over 3 months? They aren't highly paid, but it can be rewarding. They frequently work at halfway houses.

As a psych DNP, I think if it’s true that Brittany works in mental health field then she should be fired. Also, there’s no way that Erica’s wife Brittany is a licensed therapist in mental health. I am glad she’s admitted that. A mental health professional with a professional degree and training would never risk their career over trolling someone with mental health challenges. Amber is getting karma for being the POS that she is. But it is still unethical for a mental health professional to behave as Brittany did. Brittany likely works in mental health facilities and not an actual provider/ professional with education and training in mental health. Our tenet is first Do No Harm. To be fair, a personality disorder untreated is not just a "poor excuse ". It IS context to the situation. The things I did while untreated, I would never do today. I 100% blame my bpd, because I know I did my best and still acted much worse than amberlyn. Now today, me doing my best is a whole other story and does not involve hurting people. These disorders can be very serious. Of course it affects you mentally and therefore your choices in life is affected too. Its like if you dont have legs, and you also dont have a weelchair yet, your ability to run fast will be bad. Its not an "excuse ", its context. Doesnt make anything right or wrong, but still, it is context to the situation. If someone spills hot coffee on you and you get Hurt, it kind of is relevant if that person has a shaking disorder in their arm. In the future they may learn to keep that shaking arm even further away from people while holding warm liquid. One thing i have learned is to stay away from people more and not trust people 100%, because I know that if I fall in love, its kind of too late to be rational. 😅 so I have to know EVERYTHING before i even entertain that idea. But it took me a very Long time to learn how to do that, and I was Lucky to get a good therapist after ten years with really really bad ones.
Red: about not trusting people, someone with extreme bpd of course will not trust anyone, but they desperatly want to, and therefore may fall for the stupidest things while at the same time having a bad feeling. But you are so used to your bad feelings being caused by delusion, that you try to ignorere them even in situations other people would have reacted to them. But its like crying Wolf, you get that bad feeling all the time and most of the time its wrong, so you will always try to push it away and therefore fall for all kind of psycopaths.
To me, not trusting people - now - is more about not even trying or hoping to trust. Just accept the fact that you never know. So if I feel jalous, I wont try to change the behavior that makes me feel that way, I just decide if I can live with that feeling or not - and if not, I will leave. Not try to control the other person. Also accepting that yes, someone may leave me, no matter what they say, and someone may cheat. There is nothing i can do about that. Trying to control them will not change that. I just be the best person i can, and its up to them if they want to cheat or leave, and if they cheat, I deal with that when it happens, and its up to me if I forgive or walk away.

They are "certified" in coaching people in recovery, thru peer support, active listening, setting boundaries, helping them recognize triggers, etc. I don't recall how long the training is, perhaps 2 nights a week over 3 months? They aren't highly paid, but it can be rewarding. They frequently work at halfway houses.

As a psych DNP, I think if it’s true that Brittany works in mental health field then she should be fired. Also, there’s no way that Erica’s wife Brittany is a licensed therapist in mental health. I am glad she’s admitted that. A mental health professional with a professional degree and training would never risk their career over trolling someone with mental health challenges. Amber is getting karma for being the POS that she is. But it is still unethical for a mental health professional to behave as Brittany did. Brittany likely works in mental health facilities and not an actual provider/ professional with education and training in mental health. Our tenet is first Do No Harm.

I don’t trust Erica. Those last 5-10 mins of Jordy’s stream last night were weird. She was spiraling and panicking. I’m not on Prozac but a different antidepressant, and I honestly will notice if I forget even one dose. My dreams will be psychedelic nightmares that go on for hours and I’ll feel much more emotional than normal.
