This is beautifully heartbreaking! They were perfection every time they were onscreen together. They were the first couple I ever shipped. There is just nothing like the original Jasam. God I wish Steve would come back! My heart just doesn't accept that I will never experience Steve and Kelly's magic on my screen again.
I think Jason really wanted a child and gave up on Sam because she could no longer have children thus breaking both their hearts! But in the long run choosing Liz was the biggest mistake he ever made because she never let him be a father!
I have thought about that too, however I truly believe that it scares Jason like nothing ever before, that is when he thought Sam was going to die. I believe that Jason didn’t want to live in a world without Sam, so he broke up with her so she wouldn’t be in any danger. Although Jason loved or should I say “loves” Samantha, he couldn’t bare the thought of actually losing her forever, oh and of course everyone else making Jason feel like it was only and solely his fault for Sam getting shot. Lastly Jason didn’t choose Lizard, he choose his biological child, Jason wasn’t in love with Lizard he was only in love with being a father to Jake. Jason was obsessed with the fact that he was going to be a father, but it was with the wrong person, he originally wanted to have a child with Sam. Towards the end Jason finally comes to his senses and he doesn’t let Lizard use Jake on him as a pawn, because we all know that Lizard was in fact just using Jake to control Jason. Originally Jason still wanted Sam in his life, he still wanted to be with Sam through whatever happened between Lizard/Jake, but like always Lizard face gave him an ultimatum, she made him choose between the love of his life/his soul mate and his biological child, and of course he choose his son.
One of the most exquisite Jasam videos I've ever seen- really captures everything they went through and how compatible they were!! There will never be another pairing like kelly and Steve- even though billy is great in the role, he's not STEVE😢 it's just not the same for me💔
